016-Severus's confession

Adeline walked out of her bathroom as she saw Remus as he sat redressing on the side of her bed. She looked to him and smiled "are you okay?" He asked as she looked to him and smiled

"I'm okay I guess. My head is a mess over things. Look what happened it meant a lot to me I don't regret it. I needed it to get over what was going on with me" she said as he looked to her and smiled

"I'm glad I don't want it to come between us. I know how you have been through a lot and I know it's not easy but I am here for you and you have been a great mum to Sophie and you have done this on your own and I know it would make things a lot easier if she was mine and I know how you and Severus have all of this tension and I know his history with you and then with James too. It will be okay" he said as she looked to him and smiled

"I just feel as if I am getting no where with him know. I want to do what is best for Sophie but it's not easy. He doesn't make it easy" Adeline said as Remus stood up and walked over to her as he placed a hand on her cheek and smiled

"I know none of it is easy for you but you are a great mum and Sophie adores you. Don't let him get in your head like he always does" Remus said as Adeline looked to him and smiled. She knew how none of it was easy and she knew that she hated how Severus seemed to get in her head over everything and she wanted to make it work

Adeline stood in her classroom as she looked to see Severus as he walked in "and what are you swooping in here like Batman himself for?" She asked as she turned to face him

"Do you know what I saw this morning?" Severus asked

"Obviously not a bad of soap" Adeline said as he looked to her and glared. He didn't get why she was suddenly being very cold to him. He knew all that had happened between them but he cared

"I saw a certain half breed coming out of your chambers. Why was that?" He asked as she looked to him and glared

"Why do you care Severus. Huh? My sex life is none of your concern besides at least he can make me cum better than you ever did" she said as he looked to her and glared

"Do not push me on this Adeline" he said as she looked to him and sighed
"so what I had sex with Remus and do you know what it was amazing and do you know what else we may of made a child together but it does not mean that you have this hold on me. Sophie has been fine for fifteen years without you"

"Because I didn't fucking know" he said as he grabbed her and threw her against the wall as she pushed him away. He gripped her robes and pulled her against him. She could feel her entire body on fire as she felt this hatred run through her

"You are the most impossible woman I know. I hate that you do this to me" he said

"Right back at you. Do you know how hard this for me. Loving you and knowing you don't feel the same way"

"Adeline I..."

"Don't Severus don't you dare say that your sorry as I will kill you now get off of me" she said as he loosen her grip and let her go as he walked off

Sophie stood walking through the castle as she saw Adeline and smiled as she walked over to her mum

"You look as if you have been crying at you okay?" Sophie asked as Adeline looked to her and smiled

"I'm fine it's just things how are you? How is class" Adeline asked

"Moody is a bit weird"

"Yeah he is but don't let that stop you. I know that things haven't been easy for you and how you had to find out over snape that way and I am sorry I didn't tell you. Your my baby and I was trying to protect you I will always protect you. I need you to know that" Adeline said as Sophie looked to her and smiled

"I know mum and I don't blame you for any of this I knew that you're looking out of for me. None of it is your fault" Sophie said as Adeline smiled. She couldn't help but feel as if she had failed her daughter

Sophie walked into the potion classroom as she saw Severus "oh sorry I forgot my textbook" she said as Severus looked up at his daughter

"It's alright come in" he said as the two of them held a look. They both knew it was awkward between them

"Are you okay sir" she asked

"I am fine Sophie. I know I haven't always been there for you and I know how things are either your mother and I but if you would let me I'd like to be part of your life and be your father" he said as Sophie smiled

"Yeah. Why were you never there for my mother I know that you were horrible to her"

"I was a different person. I regret my decisions I just wish I more over you maybe things would have been different and I could have been some sort of father to you. Your mother deserved better then me and what I did" he said as she nodded

"You're not as bad as they seem. Give her time and she will come around. She's angry" Sophie said as he nodded.

"She always deserved better. She can't know we spoke and she can't know I feel exactly the same way about her too" Severus said as Sophie stood in shock

Severus snape was indeed in love with Adeline potter and it was the last thing he wanted her to know
