Jesse sighed as soon as he entered Arielle's apartment; the aroma of the food hitting his nose. "Babe." he had spoke as he hugged her from behind; earning a startled scream from her. He nuzzled his head in the sides of her neck; allowing her strawberry scent to fill his nose. A smile overtook both of their's face only to be disturbed by the burning smell of Arielle's cooking.

Ahhh! She yelled as she scattered around the kitchen to turn off her stove. Though only a little amount of smoke could be seen, she had acted like the whole house was on fire. He stared at her in adoration and happiness; the same look you would've whilst reading your favorite book. Arielle sat on the floor in the middle of the kitchen; sighing in relief as the smoke lessened. Only for them to filled with suspicion when she glanced over her shoulder to see her boyfriend smiling. Even though the sight made her weak in her knees; she thanked god that she was already on the floor as she slowly masked her expression, thanks to her great acting.

"Jesse Lee Soffer." she has stated in a calm and collected tone which Jesse didn't like at all. He tilted his head her way; all amusement gone from his face as he replied, "Yes, baby?" in the sweetest tone. "Don't. Don't baby me." she wailed in a dramatic way, her index finger pointing towards him as she spoke slowly, "Why?".

At the accusation, his eyes went wide; confirming everything to Arielle. "I'm so-" Jesse had begun to speak when she harshly cut him off, "No! No more sorrys...... Just explain." Jesse first opted to run but then he looked at her wobbly lips and teary eyes and he knew he could never do anything to her so he did the only thing he could and said okay. "Elle, I love you and I would never do anything to offend or hurt your feelings, you know that but-" he paused as he looked around, biting down on his lower lip; a thing he does only when he's nervous.

"What is the problem, J?" Arielle had asked quietly even though she knew what was going on. "Icanteatanythingyoucook." he had rambled in what sounded like gibberish. "Talk again. Slower." she had ordered him. "I can't eat anything you cook. It's unbearable. I'm sorry." he muttered; avoiding eye contact.

"J, look at me." she asked him on which he did, only to find Arielle smirking at him. "I knew." "What?" Jesse screamed. As he spoke words along like when? why? where?,  Arielle looked at her lover being distraught and finally spoke up, "What? You don't think I see the way you scrunch up your nose in disgust whenever you eat something I make? Or the way you came in here today looking like a smug bitch and tried to distract me?" As Jesse looked at her in mix amazement and shock.

"But don't worry, I hate my cooking too. Just wanted to wait till you said something." She inched closer to Jesse, who now was panicking that he had offended her; when she slowly kissed his lips, going on to his cheeks and then his ears and whispered, "So what lesson did we learn here today, mi amor?" To which Jesse looked at her expectantly, looking for an answer.

"Always say whatever is on your mind. Now cowboy, what's on your mind? Say anything." Arielle muttered as she pulled away from him, her lips closing near to his as Jesse lips curled deviously and he asked, "Anything?" Without waiting for an answer, he pulled Arielle's body closer to his and gently bite her lower lip and spoke, "Well Mrs Wood, my mind is thinking of ways we could skip dinner and head straight to dessert."

As Arielle jumped on him; his hands holding her lips as they devoured each other in the kitchen of the house, their house.
