He had put up his index finger to his mouth; begging her to not make any movements. Adam must've sensed something by the sudden movements of Arielle as almost immediately Adam turned around; slow enough for Jesse to hide the gun under his aching leg.

He had grabbed Arielle by her hair and threw her towards Jesse. Almost at that moment, Arielle scattered and jumped towards him. "Are you okay?" she frantically asked him. Somehow he couldn't open his mouth as if he was being choked. He coughed up; nodding. Even though, he didn't look okay, the moment she came next to him; his hand had lost it's pain. Relief flushed over her face as she cupped his face in her hands, only for the moment to be ruined by the devil himself.

"Aww, such a cute couple!!! To bad, you're both going to die." he retorted sarcastically. His gun moving from Arielle to Jesse and then he stopped to think; his gun back on Arielle. He loaded his gun as he cocked his head sideways with a grin on his face only to be removed when he heard a thud. "What the fuck was that?" he questioned as he turned around only to be surprised by a shot ringing in his ears. Jesse had subconsciously managed to pull the gun from under his leg and tossed it to Arielle. "What the fuck?" he screamed and jumped as he turned around. "Ari babe, put that down." he spoke in a calm and collected tone. "Put your FUCKING gun down." Arielle roared at him as she unloaded her gun.

Through the tears streaming down her face and her hair half up and half down; Jesse still thought she was the most gorgeous woman ever. Soon siren flood the area as Adam let out another startled jump; looking between the door and Arielle and turned around to run. Arielle let out a sigh of relief as she ran towards Jesse; dropping her gun. The light click sound filled Adam's ears who stopped halfway; his head croaking from the side as he smirked and turned around shooting whatever he saw as he ran towards the door, "SEE YOU BITCHES IN HELL!" he shouted over his as police started to surround him.

Jesse snapped out of his imagination when he heard a grunt beside him. The sound of chatter filled his ears. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion as he turned his head to his side; his vision blurring on someone on the floor. "Arielle?" he called out. "J-Jes-" she choked out. "I-I think i go-ot sh-hot." Arielle gasped out as Jesse dragged hid blooded body towards her. With whatever strength he had left, he gently pulled half of her body onto his leg. "No, no, no." he stuttered, "This wasn't supposed to happen." he spoke as his left hand caressed her cheeks but he immediately jerked them off when he realized that they were bloody. He looked at her face; horrified. Tears began to stream down his face as he finally realized that she was dying. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." he sobbed as he tightened his grip on her hand, "It's okay, i lov-" Arielle gasped out; her body feeling lighter in his arms. "Don't. Please." he wailed as the silence filled his ears. He picked up her wrist and kissed her there. It was his habit; he never told her why he did that but Arielle didn't complain. When he first met Arielle, he couldn't believe she was real. Something about her just made him feel that she was out of this world so he would gently kiss or linger his fingertips on her wrist to feel her pulse. It was stupid and was supposed to be romantic but today, when he placed his soft fingertips there; there was a void. Nothing. He couldn't feel anything and at the moment the think he think about was; she took it seriously.

"Sir? Sir?"  "We have to work on her."

When I was younger, my mom used to tell me that to never pluck out flowers and I remember it so clearly as I asked her why and she told me that God plucked out people like flowers, one by one so if we stopped plucking them; no one we love would die. I remember being so scared that I didn't touch a single flower after that. Her plan worked but once I did and nothing happened; no one I loved died but now I think this happened because of that.

Maybe if I hadn't touched that delicate rose; my rose would've been still here. The small tombstone by his feet felt larger day by day. I couldn't grieve anymore. There was a point where I only felt pain but now I was looking forward. Life continues on, Arielle had once told me and I shall continue to live on with my life like nothing happened. Footsteps fill the silence and by the way the boots sound I immediately knew who it was. A smile slowly crept on my face as I turned around, muttering "Thought you never come, Chris."
