You are a Junior and Keith is a Senior. Football/soccer is the most popular sport fyi.

It was any other day at school. You were excited though because Friday was homecoming. Your school played your rival school. You were excited to go to homecoming with your best friend Allura, but her boyfriend would also be coming. You felt a tap on your shoulder. You turn to see Allura, "hey Y/N," she says. "Oh hey Allura," you said, closing your locker.

"Excited for the big game," Allura asked. "Of course, I am who isn't excited," you reply. You see a big group of people push past you and Allura in the hall causing you to slam into your locker. "What are people deals," you ask dusting yourself off. "I don't know but are you okay," Allura asked. You shake your head that you are fine. Soon a vast commotion is happening further down the hall. You and Allura walk over to see what is up.

You see the soccer players have picked a fight with a freshman. The poor freshman was so sacred. "Leave him alone," you shouted. Everyone looked at you surprised. "What did you just say," one asked. "I said leave him alone," you added. "No one talks to the captain like that," he smarted off. "You're not the captain you're the Co-Captain. The real captain comes back this week from an injury," you said. "So he isn't worth being on the team if he is injured," he said.

"Oh I see how you feel Lotor," a voice said. He turns around and sees captain Keith. "If that is really how you feel you don't need to be on the team either. I know as your negatively," Keith said. "I didn't mean it," he stuttered. "Save it I have heard enough I will be talking to the coach about this," Keith said walking off. Lotor looks at you and glares at you. He can't hurt you because there are too many people. The rest of the soccer team walks off.

You walk off with Allura towards your class. "I can't believe you did that," Allura said. "He got what he deserves. He had it coming in my opinion," you added. The word spread pretty quickly though out the whole school. It was lunchtime you were at your locker to switch books out for your next set of classes. When someone slammed your locker closed. You turn around and are met with Lotor. "I don't know what game you are trying to play, but you just got me benched from the game this Friday," he said angrily.

"You had it coming Lotor, Keith would eventually find out what you have been doing since he was gone," you added. "You're going to regret saying that," he said grabbing the collar of your shirt and pushing you against your locker. "I have seen enough. Lotor put them down and get to my office," the principal said. He glares at you and puts you down. He walks off and you turn back to your locker to put a few more things away.

"Are you okay," a voice said. You turn around and are met with Keith. "Ya, I am fine. I expected something like this," you said, closing your locker. "Are you going to the game on Friday," Keith asked. "Yes, I am," you reply. "Going with anyone," he continued. "Yes, I am going with my best friend Allura and her boyfriend Lance," you replied. "Aren't you like third wheeling," Keith said. You nodded because you knew he was right. "That's no fun," Keith added. "Ya well I don't have anyone else to go with," you said.

"Well you could come to watch me play," Keith said. You laugh a bit, "isn't everyone going to see you play. You're the star player after all," you added. "Well duh but like it would be nice to have someone special in the stands for me," Keith said putting his hand on your cheek. You froze you didn't know how to react. "Can't wait to see you at the game love," Keith said walking away. You were still frozen in shock. You walked to your next class. You sit down and soon Allura sits next to you.

"Hey, where were you at lunch," Allura asks. "Oh, I was at my locker switching my books out. Then Lotor came to pick a fight I think he got suspended or something," you responded. "Ya I heard he isn't playing Friday," Pidge the classmate in front of you said. "Ya well he had it coming," you added. Allura nodded in agreement. Class ended and you headed to your last class Drama.

Class started and the teacher made an announcement. "Okay, class we will be doing a scene for this week. However, you will be working with Mrs. Roman's senior Drama class as well. It will be one junior and one senior. They should be coming in any minute and they have already chosen who they would like to work with," the teacher said.

Soon the door opened and all of the seniors walked in. Your eyes were met with a familiar face. "Okay please go to your partner," Mrs. Romans said. Keith walks up and stand's right in front of your desk. "Okay now that everyone had a partner. I will pass out your script," your teacher said. When she handed the script to you it already had your names on it. You handed the other to Keith. The script was about a page and a half long. You skim through the script when you stop.

"Um we have to kiss," you ask quietly. "We do," Keith asked. You point to where it says in the script. He looks shocked, "I guess we do," he said rubbing the back of his neck. You laugh nervously not sure what to do. Soon the groups break off and go to practice. You and Keith decide to go outside to practice. You start reading the script and doing the moves as well. You were nervous about the kissing scene you didn't know what to do.

You get to the kissing scene but you both agree to skip that part for right now. Class ends and you head home. You keep reading your script to memorize your lines. You are hoping Keith is doing the same. The next day was the same. "Hey I heard you guys are doing a scene with the senior Drama class," Allura asked sitting next to you. "Ya the seniors choose who they wanted to work with," you responded. "Who choose you," Allura asked. "Oh Keith," you said. "What," Allura like yelled a bit. "Keith choose you to work with," Allura added.

"Yes, what is the big deal," you ask. "He is the hottest guy in school any girl would be lucky to date him," Allura added. "Don't you have a boyfriend," you ask. "Yes but I can't say he is hot," Allura added. You kind of shrug in agreement. "Wait let me see the script," Allura asked. You hand her the script and she squeals and says, "Omg you guys have to kiss." "We skip that part for right now," you added. Allura's smile fades to a disappointed face. The bell rings and you head to your next classes.
