Lance X Reader
Part 2-3

Everyone left for lunch and you stayed back. You needed to work on your solo. You start dancing and cleaning your dance. You didn't notice that Dance Tech had walked in. You kept dancing and you got to one of your tricks. You faked the trick of being injured. You finished and your trio song played. You continue and dance to that song as well. The song Colors by Hasley Shiro and Keith is also your partner. Keith and Shiro walk in just in time to do most of the dance with you. You did the two effortless lifts with each of them. The dance finally finished and you had to go sit down with your ice pack on your ankle.

Lance sat next to you and said, "you know you shouldn't be dancing on your ankle." "My ankle is fine, I just need to rest it once in a while," you reply. You look at Dance Tech and it was still the same people when you left they were like family to you. You saw their new coach and she looks very nice. She was talking to your coach to try to figure out what to do for the dance. You could see Kolivan in pain with his arm. You slowly got up, grabbed a bandage out of your band, and limped over to Kolivan. You wrap his arm into a sling to help it heal better when it had just been popped out of place. You look at Shiro worried and this could damage his whole career.

Shiro walked over to you and hugged you. "Y/N it's not your fault you know that," he said softly into your ear. You looked at Kolivan and him being in pain and Keith trying to help. You break from Shiro's hug. Tears took over your whole vision and you ran out of the building in tears. Lance ran after you to comfort you. "Is she going to be okay," Allura Dance Tech's coach asked. "She will be okay, she just needs time. Kolivan is hurt because of a lift they do and she feels it's her fault," Keith said. "Then why did Lance run after her," Kolivan said. "Lance and Y/N used to like each other back when she was a part of us. Either one of them dared to ask the other out. Then with the whole thing with the old coach, Y/N gave up that he would ever like her. The truth is Lance still likes her," Pidge said.

"Y/N please stop running, you're only going to hurt your ankle more," Lance said, still running behind you. You turn around and Lance runs right into you. You hug him still crying. He rubs your back comforting you. You look up at him with tears still in your eyes, "why is it that every time I do a lift someone gets hurt," you said. "That's not true Y/N you have done many lifts and it hasn't hurt anyone," Lance said. "Really because when Hunk and I did that lift his shoulder popped out of place," you exclaimed. "Y/N that wasn't your fault Hunk needed shoulder surgery anyways," Lance added. "Y/N please believe me when I say it wasn't anyone's fault for what happened. If accidents happen please just come back to the studio. The dance will get your mind off of things," Lance said. You nod and you both start walking back to the studio

You take a deep breath before you enter the studio everyone looks at you. Kolivan walks over to you and hugs you with his other arm. You hug him back feeling better. "Okay everyone gathers around," Allura said. "We have chosen the music for the group routine," Coran added. "The music we have chosen is Had Me @ Hello by Luke Benward, (Yes I know it is from Girl Vs Monster). We are very excited to do this dance. Y/N and Lance you two will be the main dancers. Your job is to tell the story," Allura added.

You looked at Lance and smiled. "My dancers you need to go to the costume room to get your costumes for your dances so you can try them out," Coran added. You, Keith, Shiro, and Kolivan head to the costume room and get your costumes. You have three costumes, one for your solo, one trio, and one group dance. Your solo costume looks like…(use your imagination). Your trio costume is a dress that is blue and during a part, the dress disconnects to turn lilac. Shiro is wearing all grey and Keith is wearing all blue. Your group costume is a tight red crop top tank top. You have a black mesh top on and some black shorts with a chain hanging from them. You also have black tights that have some rips in them. The guys have either red or black tops and black pants with two red stripes down the sides.

You walk out in your trio dress. Lance's eyes immediately go to you. Shiro and Keith walk out next to you. "Those look very good," Coran said. "Y/N unconnect the dress so we can see the other one," Coran added. You took a few steps forward and up-clipped the dress and spun in a circle to make it fall. "That is perfect," Coran said. You smile and Shiro helps you reclip your dress. You guys get set for your dance. You're in the middle while Shiro is on your right and Keith is on your left. The music starts to play and you start dancing. Shiro and Keith add in when they need to. There are two lifts between the two guys. Both of the lifts went very well; they were simple. It was time for your dress to come undone. You unclip your dress and spin in a circle.

The song continues and you keep dancing. You are dancing through the pain of your foot. The song ends and everyone claps. Shiro and Keith let go of you and you try not to limp over to your water. You place the ice pack on your ankle as you watch Dance Tech do their trio. Their trio is to the song Castle on the Hill by Ed Sheeran. You watch as Lance glides across the stage. He winks at you during his dance and you blush a bit. You still had feelings for him, but you would never say anything. Dance Tech's dance ends and you clap for them. Lance comes and takes a seat next to you. "That was good," you said. "Thank you, we haven't been working on that dance for a while. We were just hoping all of the moves would work out and it did," Lance explained.

"Okay Y/N do you want to go get into your solo costume," Coran added. You nod as you slowly get up, not trying to hurt your ankle. You walk back to the costume room and your costume designer Kacy helps you into your outfit. "You know Lance could not keep his eyes off you while dancing," Kacy said. "Oh my god you are being dramatic he was not," you reply. "No really Y/N he could not keep his eyes off you," Kacy exclaimed. Kacy finished helping you get into your costumes and you head out in front of everyone. "Costume looks great Y/N," Shiro said. "Thank you," you replied. You stand in the middle of the studio and wait for the music to start. Your music starts and you become a whole new dancer. Depending on what kind of dance it is your dance is different. For example, a solo is much more involved with yourself and dancing. A trio dance focuses on dancing the same as your partners at the time.

It is one of the reasons you are good at dancing. You can change the way you dance to fit the others. Your song ends and you finish. Everyone is clapping which kind of startles you. You were in your little world. You kind of forgot that people were there. You blush out of embarrassment. "Y/N that was amazing, it was so different from when we saw it a few days ago," Shiro said. "Ya I needed to change some things to make it work better," you explained.
