"No, that wasn't weird at all." You mumbled under your breath. You were still so shocked to see Legolas that you hadn't moved to get dressed.

"Three weeks. It's been three weeks. All I wanted was time with my wife and when I finally get that, my son decides to show up?" Thranduil growled, clearly annoyed.

"Maybe he has information on Mordor?" You offered, hoping to calm him.

"Maybe he came back to ruin things." Thranduil snapped.

"Don't be so dramatic. Just stay here and calm down and when I get back we can.. finish." you squeezed his hand.

"I'm really not in the mood now." He snorted, and you noticed that his considerable length was no longer hard.

"Fine." You sighed, rolling your eyes. You got up and dressed yourself, feeling very unsatisfied.

"What do you want?" You asked Legolas.

"Well I'm here to offer my congratulations on your marriage." Legolas spit.

"You had to know that it would happen sooner or later." You said softly.

"I guess I was in denial." He spoke swiftly.

"What did you really come here for?" You asked, looking him in the eyes.

Legolas, was hesitant for a moment before pulling out a box from his coat.
"I was returning these to Mirkwood where they belong." He said, opening the box, which contained white gems of pure starlight.

"How did you get these??" You asked, curious, mesmerized by the brilliance of the stones.

"I made a deal with Thorin and he gave them to me." Legolas said cooly, watching you. "Here." He closed the box and placed it in your hands.

"Is this why you came back?" You asked, cradling the box in your hands.

"This and I wanted to see if you really did marry my father." He said, his eyes cold and distant.

"I never wanted to hurt you." You said, a lump in your throat rising.

"It was always him." Legolas said, ignoring what you'd said.

"What?" You asked, holding back tears.

"Even when we were together, before we had married, I could tell you cared for him and he for you." He said, seeming to look through you.

"No, I didn't start to care for him until after you had left me." You objected.

"You know that's not true." He said, and before you could respond he left you with a kind smiled.
