Katie
"GIRL!!!" My friend Willow crows.
"What was that choke back there all about?!?"
I shove my face into my hands, still walking forward despite the fact that I can't see a thing.
"I don't know," I mutter.
"You're just lucky I saved your BUTT!" My other friend Rosalina huffs.
She twirls her dark red locks around her finger, her hazel eyes glaring at me.
"You gotta admit, the choke was KINDA adorable," My friend Perci giggles.
She runs her hand through her short black hair, smiling at me with big, dark brown eyes.
"Okay, I'm putting two and two together," Rosalina declares.
"First, the boy compliments you. You panic. Then, the boy smiles at you. You panic."
Rosalina turns to give me an eyebrow raise.
"WHAT?!?!?" I cry.
"THAT DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING!!!!"
"Riiiiight," Perci hums.
"Look, it's okay!! We're not going to criticize you or anything!! It's perfectly normal."
Willow gives me a warm smile, playing with her long, dark brown hair, which is tinted a deep green from her shoulders down.
Willow stares at me innocently with sweet, pine green eyes.
"What's perfectly normal?" I ask, nervous for the response.
"Having a crush!" Perci smiles at me.
"W-What? Who ever said that I like, LIKE-LIKE Luke???" I ask, my face flushed. "Lie to yourself all you want." Rosalina rolls her eyes. "Anyway, where's this trip headed?"
"We're just going inside," I reply quickly.
"Without permission, eh?" Rosalina smiles darkly.
"Rebellious."
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Willow asks me quietly as she holds onto my arm, looking at me nervously with her big pine green eyes.
"Yep." I say.
"If I can hack the school's security system without getting called to the office, sneaking inside the school to check something will be a piece of cake."
"You did WHAT?!?" Rosalina and Perci cry, Rosalina smiling excitedly and Perci staring at me in shock.
"Forget it." I say as we head for the doors.
"No one is going through the halls right now so I think we're fine."
I open the doors grandly and casually walk inside, trying to forget the fact that this is probably against the rules that the school has set for students.
"Where we headed?" Rosalina asks.
"To Mrs. Catherine's." I reply.
"I have something that I need a lot of information on. I'm hoping that if I tune in, I'll pick up the right information I need."
"Eavesdropping!!"
Rosalina looks like she's having the best day of her life.
"Don't get too hyped," I say. "We're playing a dangerous game."
