hi guys! Remi here, aka the author of this book! first of all, i am SO sorry that this took so long! but anyways, let's get right into it; these are the answers to the q&a i did in celebration of 1k reads! if you ever have any questions for me or about the story in the future feel free to ask, but they most likely won't be included in the book like this (unless said so) in the future!! </3 AND IF I MISSED A QUESTION IM SO SORRY!! ask again in the comments and i'll add it onto this :)
Now, let's get to the questions!
Questions for the characters
1) Q)Marcy's Mom: what's your opinion on everything that's going on? I mean Marcy seems to have something really bad going on. What's your thoughts?
A) "I am extremely worried about Marcy, especially after her last doctor's appointment. Seeing her in so much pain is more than heartbreaking. I'm trying to do everything I can to help her and to be there for her, but it's not easy when she barely communicates with us anymore. It's like she's a completely different person now, and I mean that in a negative way. There's something terrible she isn't telling us about that Amphibia place, I just know it."
2) Q) Marcy's dad: where are y'a my dude?
A) "The new job takes up most of my time nowadays, so I've been very busy. I've heard about what's going on with Marcy from my wife though, and I've noticed the recent differences in her behavior; it's certainly troubling, to say the least. I want to be there for her, but I feel like she still kind of resents me for the whole "moving away" thing— regardless, though, my wife and I plan to do everything we can to make sure she gets the help she needs and make sure she's okay."
3) Q)Anise: What's your thoughts on Marcy? Also why were you not doing so hot that one day?
A) "Marcy? Oh, she's a good friend! I like spending time with her at school, and of course its always nice to have a new addition to my friend group. Speaking of friends, can you believe Marcy is friends with the Anne Boonchuy, the one who literally saved the world?! Ahhh! I hope I'll get to meet her someday!!!
If I'm being honest, though, I'm kind of worried about Marcy lately. They've been more quiet than usual, and I've even caught them drifting off to sleep in English class a few times, although they have told me they've been having trouble sleeping at home. I'm concerned, but there's stuff I haven't told her about my own situation, so I don't blame her for keeping whatever it is hidden from me. Regarding the second part of your question... that's kind of what I was referring to when I said I've been secretive about my own situation. I don't really want to talk about it, it's more of a personal matter— can I skip this question, please?"
4) Q)Andrias: are you still stuck in the weird mind scape? Are you dead???
A) "Yup, I'm still stuck here, unfortunately. Can't see myself getting out any time soon. As for the second part of your question, I'm not entirely sure. I don't remember dying, all my memories have gotten pretty foggy since I've been trapped up here. For now, though, until I know otherwise, it's safe to assume that I am dead— or, if I'm lucky, just in a comatose state."
5) Q) is Marcy really gonna lie to her friends (girlfriends) again? And if so, I hope they're not too mad at her
A) "Yes... unfortunately, that's the plan. I don't want to lie to them, I hate lying to them— but it's what has to be done. I'm sorry."
6) Q) P.S can we punch Darcy? Cause I want to.
A) "Punch me? I wouldn't treat the future ruler of the multiverse that way, but we doubt you could hurt us if you tried anyways."
Questions for the author
7) Q) How did you come up with this idea? Was it inspired, original, or something else?
A) You may be surprised to hear this, but the idea for this story just randomly came to me one day! I started building on it and then I was like "woah, I could write a book about this!" and that's pretty much how it happened! It was kind of something I did on impulse, I tend to do that lol. I never expected the story to get so many reads and so much support!!
8) Q) What's your favorite Amphibia character?
A) If it wasn't obvious already, my favorite Amphibia character is Marcy! But if I had to pick a different one, I'd pick either Anne, Sasha, or Sprig!
9) Q) Do you plan on writing more stories? Or do you have any new ideas that you want to make?
A) As of now I have no plans to write any other Amphibia stories, but that could change as, like I said, I tend to do things on impulse! I do have a bunch of stories in mind about my original characters, though, so after I finish this book, I may pursue one of those! We'll see!
