Chan tossed and turned that night, the memories of what had happened less than twenty four hours ago still vivid in his mind. He remembered everything, even down to the feeling of the blonde's demonic teeth sinking into his neck. It had felt bad, but good at the same time.

The more he thought of it, the more he tried to make sense of everything. Felix had walked into his apartment, announced he was a vampire, then healed Changbin because he didn't want his neck wound to 'arouse suspicion'. It was a lot for a person to register, especially considering before that night, the most supernatural experience he had ever had was the wind knocking some paper off of his desk.

Every time he was about to fall asleep, the feeling of unconsciousness lurking over his shoulder, his brain went into full analysis mode on the previous events once more. It was like he was standing at the place where it all happened, watching it happen to himself in an out-of-body experience. The fear he felt initially, the adrenaline, and then the high of the blonde's blood coursing through his body. He should be terrified, fearing for his life, really. But he wasn't. He was thinking of Felix, and wondering how the interaction must have felt on his end of things.

Deciding eventually that he wouldn't get any sleep soon, Chan decided to head out for a walk. He made sure he was quiet, so as to not wake Changbin, knowing the scolding he'd get for being out so late at night after what had happened. Jisung had returned home a few hours ago, claiming he had met the man of his dreams, and that after their night at the club, they had spent the entirety of the morning - and afternoon- after just doing things around town. He seemed smitten, which was very on brand for Jisung. He was the type to fall head first in love, all rationality leaving his brain when he thought he had met the one.

Chan locked the door to the trio's shared apartment quietly, making his way down to the lobby and out the door to be hit in the face with the crisp night air. It wasn't freezing, but it was cold enough to make you shiver without a jacket. Wandering aimlessly, Chan made his way through the town streets.

He wasn't necessarily looking for anything, or anyone, but his mind seemed to be on a search mission - he just didn't know for what. He let himself follow where his legs took him, which, unsurprisingly, seemed to be back to the scene of the crime. He was curious as to whether the blonde would be there again, seeking out another meal - if that's what vampires called it. He wasn't sure.

Rounding the corner to the alleyway, it was empty. Chan turned on the flash on his phone, shining it against the ground and the adjacent wall, to see if there was any trace of what had happened from the night before.

Blood stains littered the wall and ground, though some were more faint than others. This must have been a popular spot for the two vampires, as the darkness of the alley concealed the blood stains. Only someone dumb enough as Chan to walk around with a flashlight would notice them.

"You're really dumb, huh?" Chan's head whipped around at the sound of the voice, standing still as he made eyes with an unfortunately familiar blonde.

"How did you know I was here?" Chan questioned, unsure of how he should approach talking to Felix. The last two interactions with the boy had resulted in near-death, or forced entry.

"I didn't." Felix replied calmly. "I was heading somewhere when I saw you turn into this alleyway. Why are you here alone, in the middle of the night?"

"I couldn't sleep." Chan shrugged, the curiosity in the other's voice making him feel oddly calmer.

"So you came to the place you almost got killed? Makes sense." Felix chuckled, raising an eyebrow.

"I didn't intend on coming here, I just kind of.. wandered. Anyways, I don't need to explain myself." Chan shrugged.

Felix took a step closer - and Chan, one step back.
