Felix stepped through the door of the apartment cautiously, the action almost feeling normal considering how much he's done it lately. He was still wearing the old sweats and hoodie Hyunjin had loaned him as he shuffled in, his phone sat on the coffee table where it had been left earlier the previous day. Sat on the couch, in front of it, was Chan, who looked like he had barely slept.
"Hey." Felix said softly, an immediate guilt washing over him for not taking his phone with him yesterday in his sudden rush to leave.
"I tried calling you, 'til I found your phone." Chan said, equally as soft. He seemed worried.
"I'm sorry, I just had to think things over, I didn't even think to grab it." The blond apologised as Chan stood from the sofa.
"You don't need to apologise, I should. I'm sorry for springing such a big request on you so suddenly. I didn't even think about what a big ask it was." Chan seemed earnest, and Felix realised his worry wasn't about the blond's whereabouts last night, but rather if he was angry at the elder.
"Don't be sorry." Felix smiled warmly, pulling the elder in for a hug.
Felix felt himself practically melt in Chan's arms, the latter's larger ones wrapped around his waist whilst his own were around the brunet's neck.
"I feel shitty about how I left." Felix sighed into Chan's chest, the warmth that was radiating from it sending a small shiver down his spine.
"Like I said, it was a big ask." Chan reassured, one of his hands lifting from the blond's waist to rub small circles against his lower back.
Felix found himself pulling away against his own will, but he needed to make one thing clear.
"Is this one hundred percent what you want? Not just some last-minute decision that seems like a good idea." The blond looked up into the dark brown orbs staring back at him.
"Yes, I promise." Chan breathed, his hand stopping on the blond's back. "I thought about it for a while now. But I know it's a lot, so I get it if you're not comfortable with the idea."
"I talked it over with Hyunjin, Minho and Jisung." Felix admitted, nodding gently. "I still don't know what I want for you, but if you want this, then I want it."
Chan felt a small smile creep up on his face, breath hitching in his throat.
"Really?"
"Really."
The brunet pulled the blond closer, gently pressing his lips against the other's, an act that was soft and gentle, and filled with love.
"Thank you." Chan said, pressing his forehead against the younger's.
"When do you.. want it? Or rather, how?" Felix broke the brief silence, mind only focusing on how and where to make this as least painful for the elder as possible.
Chan laughed nervously, unsure of his answer.
"It's gonna sound a little funny, but I was thinking you could like, I dunno.. drain me? So that you can have the last of my blood, I guess." The brunet blushed at the request.
Felix smiled, heart warmed by the unusual gesture, but shook his head gently.
"I can't, if I do that then I'll suck the venom back out of your system. But you're sweet." The blond offered a soft smile, placing a hand through the elder's hair.
"Oh, right, yeah duh. Uh, I don't know then, whatever hurts the least I guess?" Chan shrugged, he wasn't necessarily an expert on painless deaths.
"I could snap your neck." Felix offered, after a moment of thought. "Hyunjin accidentally did it to me once, it didn't really hurt. It was too quick to feel much of anything."
