Spy x Family Episode 1: Operation Strix

Many people in the audience couldn't help themselves and smiled as soon as the title of the next viewing appeared on the viewing screen, knowing what to expect from this universe from the trailer they watched of it not so long ago.

Tokage smiled excitedly, "Hell yes! Mama Reiko time!"

"Stop calling me that." Reiko muttered under her breath in embarassment.

"We're finally starting this universe." Jimmy smiled.

Touko smiled, "Finally something wholesome."

Honoka nodded in agreement, "Yeah. It will be a nice change from the messed up stuff we've watched so far."

The rest of the audience stayed silent as a good portion of it wanted the first viewing of this universe to start.

The first viewing of Spy x Family started with a view of a black diplomat's car riding along the hallway.

"How much longer to the embassy?" The diplomat impatiently asked his driver.

"I believe it will be around 20 minutes, sir." The driver replied, driving faster as the camera showed him and the diplomat. 

As he noticed they were about to take a sharp turn on the highway, he pressed the brakes to make the car drive slower. Much to his confusion, the car didn't slow down one bit, no matter how many times he pressed the brakes.

"The brake's not working." He said, looking down at the brakes with a confused look on his face as he took his eyes off the road. Seeing this, the diplomat looked at him with an alarmed look on his face.

"Hey, you! Look up front!" The diplomat shouted as he grabbed the driver's shoulder, trying make him look at the road again. The car crashed through the bridge's barrier and fell onto streets below. As soon as the car hit the ground, it exploded.

All the positive emotions the audience got from seeing the name of this universe died down after seeing the car crash.

Akane's eyes widened in suprise, "What?"

"Those poor people." Komachi muttered under her breath.

"Damn." Qrow said with a suprised look on his face, "Talk about starting a universe with bang."

Tai nodded in agreement, "RIP to those two."

"Why are we getting stuff like this? This was supposed to be a wholesome universe!" Ruby pointed out, earning several nods of agreement from her fellow members of the audience.

"Have you forgotten what the trailer was about? It's a universe about a spy trying to stop a war. You really weren't expecting to see stuff like this?" Weekend asked as Roman nodded in agreement.

No further comments were made after Weekend's remark. Everyone knew Weekend was right. No words were said about it to her, though as a good portion of the audience didn't want to admit she was right.

"One of our diplomats perished in a car accident in Ostania." A male voiced sounded from the viewing screen as the scene changed into a group of people sitting gathered around a table in a prestigious looking room, "But we believe it to be an assassination by the East's far-right political party."

All Might sighed, "So it was a planned assassination."

"Makes senses when you think about it." Nezu hummed, "After all, a diplomat was killed in this assassination."
