The whole airport was in chaos. Those who were originally scheduled to a tight timing flight found themselves trying to drive as far away as possible whilst the avengers fought each other with partial determination. After a while of vigorous battling, Steve and Bucky fled the airport to continue with what was to be done.

"You okay Buck?" Steve asked as he carefully eyes the man sitting at the back of the plane.

Bucky looked down at his legs and nodded silently. Then he looked up at his best friend and asked hesitantly. "What's gonna happen to all your friends?"

There was a long silence, then Steve signed. "Whatever happens, I'll deal with it."

Bucky looked down again, looking somewhat insecure. "I don't know if I'm worth all this Steve..."

As his best friend, Steve immediately recognised Bucky's uncertainties. "What you did, it wasn't you. You didn't have a choice."

"I know." Bucky replied, his sense of guilt still not leaving. "But I still did it."

Steve signed. But just before he had the chance to speak some words of comfort to his friend, a loud explosion was heard at the back of the plane. Immediately following up was emergency alarm and the message of engine failure. From the screens, they could see another plane chasing behind them. They had no other choice but to launch themselves out of the plane, without a parachute.

As super soldiers, they can survive the fall, especially with Steve having his shield and Bucky having a vibranium arm. But as they were falling, another figure jumped from the plane following them earlier, heading straight for them. It was a girl. A girl whom Bucky recognised too well.

"Yn?" Bucky mumbled quietly under his breath, catching the attention of his friend beside him.

Moments after, the girl had arrived before their eyes, then she grabbed them both by their arms and opened up her parachute, allowing them to land safely on the ground. As soon as they landed, the three of them stood, about a meter away from each other, looking at each other in silence.

Bucky took a step forward. "Yn?"

"You know this girl?" Steve asked, lowering his shield slightly. "Miss....Yn? Are you a friend of Bucky's?"

Yn stayed silent, looking at Steve's star and stripes costume and shield. Then she slowly averted her eyes towards Bucky who walked towards her slowly and carefully. Her eyes darted around his body, recognising his arm and face. Then she lifted a hand and tapped gently on her ear. Without breaking eye contact, she spoke into coms the words that made Bucky's blood run cold. "Target acquired."

Upon hearing this, Steve immediately raised his shield and ran towards Bucky, trying to push him out of the girl's radar as she reached towards the guns clipped to her back. Steve immediately hid behind his shield as a reflex and covered Bucky behind him, but as soon as he did this, the bullets stopped firing. He heard the gun being clipped to something again. Yn had clipped her guns back and replaced them with a pair of blades.

"Steve her target is me, not you." Bucky said as he stood up. "Get out of here whilst you can, I don't know if we can fight her."

"Get back!" Steve shouted. "I thought you knew each other!" His words did nothing. Bucky still ran towards the woods. As if confirming Bucky's words, yn immediately chased after him. Steve secretly swore in his mind and followed after. By the time he had gotten there, Bucky and Yn were already fighting each other, and he joined.

As they fought, Steve continued attempting to get his answer. "Bucky is she not a friend?" He asked whilst dodging yn's sharp blades that inched from his neck.

"She was, but that was when I was Winter Soldier." Bucky replied as he raised his metal hand to clutch on to one of yn's blade, yanking it out of her hands. "She's the creation of Hydra and the Red Room working together using Loki's sceptre. Which obviously means-"

He didn't get time to finish his sentence, for reality itself had proposed the answer before their eyes. As Steve threw his shield out, aiming directly towards the girl's stomach, the part of her body that the shield would have hit immediately became transparent and the shield cut straight through, then yn caught the shield with her free hand. She turned around and looked at Steve as if she was analysing a report. Without warning, she pushed Bucky onto the a tree and dropped a metallic collar on his neck, which immediately latched itself around his throat, attaching itself to the tree and trapping him.

When she turned to face Steve again with his shield in hand, she tilted her head like she did when they first landed. Steve looked at her in alarm. "Yn? We can talk about this. What do you want?"

Yn blinked and answered him by throwing his shield back at him the same way he threw it at her. With his great experience, he caught the shield and stood firmly on the ground. But when he looked up again, yn was standing in a similar pose as him, holding her dagger. From there on, every attack he tried was posed by the girl, it was as if he was fighting a mirrored version of himself. Soon, she had learnt his fighting style and mixed it with her own, and Steve was beginning to lose control. After a few more rounds of kicks and flicks, cap was down on the floor, with yn's knee against his chest and another pair of metallic clutches binding his wrists to the ground, holding him down firmly and her fists repeatedly making aggressive contact with the side of his head.

After a few seconds, Steve's helmet had fallen off his head, cracked. Blood was streaming from the corner of his mouth as his vision began to blur. Then her attacks stopped. Steve's vision started returning to him as his eyes focused on the girl's action: she reached towards the dagger she had placed back by his waist. Bucky immediately understood her motif. "Stop it!" He shouted as yn's dagger began making its way towards Steve's head. "I know I'm your target and you want me alive. If you kill him, I'll kill myself. And you'll never complete your mission."

In that moment, the dagger swinging down towards Steve's face took a sudden halt, stopping a few millimetres away from the centre of his eyes. Steve's breathing hitched. That was the closest he's ever been to death apart from crashing into the ice. Then he turned to look at his friend, who had been buckled to a tree. It would have been pretty hilarious if his position wasn't being pinned to the floor and without a dagger in front of his face.

"Yn it's me." Bucky tried again to let yn know of whom he is. "It's me! Come on yn, you're stronger than them."

Yn turned to face Bucky, her eyes vacant of emotion and recognition. She looked at him for a second before throwing his dagger at him, but the dagger wasn't aimed at him, but instead aiming for merely a few centimetres away from his head. Bucky took this as his cue to shut up. Then yn turned around and hit Steve on the neck, causing him to pass out. She stood up and walked towards Bucky.

"Please yn. You know me." Bucky begged in desperation. "You don't want this, this isn't you."

Yn looked at him blankly. Then, to Bucky's horror, she reached for her earpiece again and gently whispered 'target obtained' as her hand made contact to his neck too, sending him to deep, unwanted slumber.
