Yn felt herself floating, she wasn't sure of where exactly she was because there was a blinding light that forbid her from opening her eyes. Everywhere was silent like a lifeless forest. She doesn't know how long she had been there for, she only knows that she probably isn't alive anymore. The last thing she remembers was crumbling to ashes in front of Steve and Bucky, watching their terrified expressions. It would have been funny to see them so terrified if it wasn't for the fact that she was dying.

She slowly turned her head and raised a hand to block out the light as she opened her eyes, waiting for those delicate little things to adjust to whatever source of light it was. When they had finally stopped trying to shut themselves, she looked up to see the source of light - it was a dim orange sky, but a bright golden sun. The whole place looked so peaceful, especially with the light being reflected gently by the washing waves of the water. Besides her was a little cottage, a small one that was big enough for her to reside in and it looked very cosy. It was as though she was transferred to this place.

She sat by the water for a very long time, looking at the sun, waiting for it to set. But it never did. Time seemed to have neglected this place as not only did the sun not move one bit, she couldn't feel the passing of time in herself either. The watch she had on her before she faded was sitting peacefully on her wrist, it's hour and minute hands remained perfectly motionless whilst the seconds hand switched constantly between twenty four and twenty five.

Everything suggested to her that she's not dead, nor is she alive. It's more like she was stuck between the middle phase of life and death. She decided to take this time to contemplate her short and uneventful little life. She got trained, she kidnaps Steve and Bucky, she gets them back out, finds herself a new father, gets into a fight and dies. It seems so boring, but also so exciting. She thought back to every individual moment and realised just how much she had grown attached to the avengers. They were more than a team, they were like a family to each other. They always had their ups and downs, some arguments and fights inserted here and there, but everything always seems to resolve themselves again.

She dipped a finger into the water and watched as it sent ripples all along the surface of the water, then she signed to herself. She wished she could have spent more time with the team, the team that taught her so much and treated her like a family given her terrible background and condition. For the first time in a long while, she felt real inner peace. She felt free in this far stretched space, and she released all of her powers into the surrounding. If she was about to die anyways, why not test her real limits?

But it was only after she had done that did she feel something different emerging in her body. It was like something trying to come out despite being hidden for so many years. She opened her eyes and gave it permission to be set loose, and almost immediately the cottage behind her sets on fire. She turned around in fear as she stared at what could potentially be her residence for the next period of time and whispered a quick oh shit to herself. However she found that with only a thought, the fire extinguished. With another thought, the building began reconstructing itself before her eyes. Yn looked at her hands in surprised. What else did she not know about herself?

She spent some time playing around with her own mind and setting loose all restrictions she had ever felt in her life, and as an effect of that, the poor house was set on fire, extinguished. Blown apart, reconstructed. Washed away, carried back. Broken down, rebuilt. The process went on for a long period of time, and eventually, yn had finally felt satisfied and exhausted.

She closed her eyes again and lay back with a sign, but she didn't feel her back hit the ground. In fact, she found herself feeling like she was in the middle of nowhere again, and like it had been earlier, she couldn't open her eyes at all. She felt like she was being twisted and turned in all kinds of different positions and then finally she was at rest. Standing up somewhere bright. Around her she could hear screams and baring of metallic weapons, she could hear mumbles of confusion and lots of lots of different noises. She slowly opens her eyes again, but she couldn't believe what she saw.

In front of her, the Dora Milaje formed a defensive circle, their spears pointed towards her but their expressions doubtful and confused. Behind them, Shuri and Vision reappeared from ashes and Wanda faded in besides Vision. She looks at them, speechless, and slowly walked towards them, gently pushing the Dora Milaje out of the way.

The others must have also been confused, for they all looked at each other disbelievingly. Wanda was the first to speak. She looked at Vision, who opened her eyes and immediately threw herself at him, sobbing in happiness but also in sadness. Vision held her closely in his arms, then he saw yn and immediately tensed up. Wanda felt his movement and turned her head,  flicker of surprised went into her eyes as she immediately unlatched herself from Vision and ran at Yn instead.

When yn turned around again, the Dora Milaje had disappeared from where they were and had decided to swarm around Shuri, checking to see if she's okay. Outside the building, many men and women returned from ashes, their weapons still in hand as they charged forward only to find themselves with no targets. All of a sudden the world was in chaos.

"Wanda I'm so sorry." Yn repeated again. "I'm so sorry I did that I swear I didn't mean to do any of that! I just-"

"I know yn, I know. But it's okay!" Wanda replied as she brushed a streak of hair behind yn's ear. "Look, Vision's still alive. It's all okay."

"Vision, I'm sorry." Yn turned her target from Wanda to Vision. "I'm sorry for what I did I -"

"Please Miss Yln, don't stress." Vision replied with a kind smile. "Not only am I still alive, I am also still functioning. Besides, you were controlled. So please, be at ease."

"Yn?"

Yn turned around, and her eyes lit up in happiness as she saw a particular soldier with a metallic arm. For the first time ever, she showed her affection to its maximum. She threw herself at him like Wanda had previously done, and wrapped her arms around his neck tightly as he pulled her from the floor into his arms. "I've missed you Bucky, even though it was only a few moments."

"I'm just glad you're okay doll." Bucky replied before letting go. "Let's go, we'll finish the war."

"Actually," Shuri's voice echoed around the room, making them all turn their heads. Shuri was standing with her back against the lab desk and the Dora Milaje next to her, all looking concerned. "The war was finished we had lost."

"What do you mean?" Bucky asked in confusion.

"We were only gone for a few moments, and before that the aliens were still everywhere." Yn said, equally as confused.

Wanda looked around them and clamped a hand to her mouth as she read their minds, mentally unable to register what had happened. Beside her, Vision's eyes changed colour multiple times as new data emerged into his system.

Shuri looked at the pair and smiled a sad smile. "Yeah, that's right."

"What's right?" Bucky asked, feeling uneasy.

"It's been five years since we dusted sergeant." Okoye replied, her voice sounding more grave than usual. "Five, damn years."

I hope that wasn't too weird, I wasn't sure how it was in the soul world, and I kinda made it up. I also just went with the flow with what yn could have tried to do in the soul world and tried to make it random since we'd all kinda do all sorts of random things in that kind of position. But hey, at least they're all back now and no one shall die.
