Becoming his (Bucky x yn x Steve)

15. Settling in

On that day, Pepper, rhodey, vision and Natasha was brought in a few hours after the rest of the team had gotten here, and after the same sort of dumbfound reaction, they were also filled in with the story of everything. They couldn't track Thor down, and Bruce was out somewhere in the unknown, so they had to leave them out there until they show themselves.

After some discussion, it was decided that yn will take vision with her to go shopping for food and necessities since the she,ter included none of such things. This is because since Vision is a vibranium based AI, he could change his own appearance and go outside with yn together. Yn shapeshifted into a taller, blond haired woman wearing glasses and judging by appearance, you would assume her and vision were siblings.

When they came back with only a little bag of items, the team looked at them weirdly. But then when yn took each little tiny teeny things out of the bag and resumed them to their normal sizes, the team stared hard at the food, drinks, games, duvets, clothes and even chairs and plates that now sat in front of them, back to their original size.

Nat have joined Wanda and Yn to form a little girl's trio kind of thing. It was harder for Nat and Yn to open up each other given their backgrounds and how alerted they always are, but Wanda broke that barrier easily by reading their minds out loud to each other, revealing that they both actually did want to get to know each other.

A week later, things began to get better for the team as they began adjusting to their new lifestyle.

Every country above ground had realised that the avengers had gone missing and was worrying over where they could be hiding. Many people now label them as criminals for breaking people out of prison and hiding themselves, and many assumed that it was a planned crime because Tony had removed all his suits and technology and had hidden them somewhere. The whole world is looking for them, trying to locate them and throwing them into prison, meanwhile, these said criminals were sitting under the ground, arguing with each other or fighting over monopoly.

All apart from two super soldiers, who have started avoiding each other slightly. No one knows the reason apart from Wanda, and the girl had to keep her mouth shut as tight as possible everytime she gets asked.

When there was tension and there's things to be done, Steve and Bucky can put their minds away and work cooperatively, ignoring the fact that they've fallen for the same girl. But now that everything seems to be fitting back into place, now that they're settling down, this became something that grew into a thorn in their hearts, jabbing at them every time they saw each other. Both wanted to talk to each other, but neither knew how to start it.

Eventually Wanda had had enough. So one day when yn and vision left again for shopping, Wanda took them both by the arms using her powers and made a little red bubble where no sound is allowed out and no one is allowed in, nor out, without her permission. It was a little frightening, but Steve and Bucky knew she meant no harm. So did the rest of the team.

"You need to sort it out." Wanda said as she made a chair appear behind all three of them, forcing them to sit in a circle.

Steve and Bucky looked at each other and quickly looked away again.

"Look either you sort it out yourself, or I'll do it." Wanda said rather threateningly. "It's really not that hard. I know you both like yn, just both go after her or something I don't know. Just cuz you both like her doesn't mean that you need to maintain such an awkward relationship with each other." She looked at the two men, neither said anything as they fidgeted with their hands quietly. Wanda signed. "Yo two talk, when you're finished alert me." Then she stood up and left the red bubble.

There was a few seconds of silence.

Then Steve broke it. "I'm sorry Buck."

"I've said already, no need to apologise." Bucky signed and looked up at his friend. "Wanda's right, just cuz we fell for the same girl doesn't mean we're not friends anymore."

"I'm happy you think that." Steve said, smiling at Bucky. "I mean, she's the only girl who I've felt something for since, Peggy."

"Yeah, I know." Bucky said, chuckling slightly to himself. Then he sat back in his fake little chair. "I'm sorry Steve, but for this one, I don't think i wanna let go."

"Nor do I." Steve said. "But after all, the decision's up to yn isn't it."

"Yeah." Bucky said, smiling as he stood up. "But whatever happens Steve, I'll be with you-"

"Till the end of the line." Steve continued. Both men smiled. Then they looked around the red bubble and began contemplating.

"How do we alert Wanda?" Bucky asked, puzzled.

But as soon as he said that, the red bubble disappeared and was replaced by a rather shiny glow. When the glow died down, a very concentrated rest of the team were sitting in front of them, eating popcorn together out of a box.

"....you watched that?" Steve asked hesitantly as he looked at the very mischievous people.

"Well, me and Wanda are yn's friends so we get to watch." Nat shrugged and looked at the two soldiers, who grew a little red.

"And I'm yn's new dad sooooo..." Tony continued.

Pepper rolled her eyes at Tony. "I've been given a new adoptive daughter, and I'd like to make sure everything's good around her."

"And we're living together in this enclosed space so we should know." Clint said, pursing his lips and pointing at himself, Scott, Sam and Rhodey.

"Sooooo!" Tony clapped his hands together and stood up, wrapping his arms around the two super soldiers necks. He looked to Steve. "Only girl who Ive felt something for since Peggy?" He repeated, making the blond look away awkwardly. Then he laughed and looked at Bucky. "Not letting go huh?" Bucky also turned away in silence.

The rest of the team laughed. "It's fine." Wanda said as she held back her laughter, "we don't tell yn. Not yet at least."

"Such a lucky girl yn is." Nat mocked but with no malice in her tone, "two super soldiers in one bed." Then she winked at the two men, who turned around and walked away in unison. The rest of the team just stood there and laughed again. It was funny, it also adds a bit of drama in their new life down here, so all good.

"So. Why are we all laughing?" Yn said as she stepped towards the team behind their backs, who were whispering and talking about the situation.

An outstretched silence. Then an eruption of giggles.

"Nothing yn." Nat said as she walked towards yn, linking arms with her and dragging her into the house. "What have you brought back this time?"

"Come vis." Wanda said, walking towards vision. "There's something you should know."

The rest of the team followed Wanda and Vision, dramatising the story to the poor AI who just wanted to come back to a normal team of enhanced individuals.
