Becoming his (Bucky x yn x Steve)

19. Negotiation

The next day was a day to be remembered. Every government from all countries came to Wakanda, and those who cannot make it there in person attended using Wakanda's high levelled projection technology. Reporters swarming the protective borders of Wakanda, dying to get a view on what is happening inside. The civilians across the globe was sat in front of the TV, their eyes fixed to the screen, waiting for the negotiation.

Inside the tower, the presidents and governors were getting impatient. There were no signs of planes or jets coming their way and the time was due 5 minutes ago. They all had something in mind to what to say. It's clear to them all that what the avengers are wanting is freedom for themselves and for the Winter Soldier, they could give them the first one. They need to unrest for die down before they try any further restrictions.

Suddenly a loud cheer was heard outside the building, the country leaders stood up to take a look outside. There lands a jet, so beautiful and mesmerising. The crowd surrounded the jet, but keeping at a safe distancing knowing better than to cross the residents within. The first to come out of the jet was no other than the genius billionaire playboy philanthropist, who walked out with his sunglasses on, blowing kisses to the authorities. Then came the blond super soldier, modest and stern as ever. Just as they expected the two to walk to the building, they both turned around back towards the jet. Steve held out a hand in a gentlemanly manner and the girl took it, walking gracefully out of the plane. Tony immediately wraps his arm around her. Yn snaps and shoves them both off.

Inside the building the leaders looked at each other, clearly not expecting an unfamiliar face. But regardless, they sat back down and put on their best amiable and calm look as they waited for the three to get up. They each had a secretary and a lawyer beside them as they sat on the chairs, files open, ready to debate.

"Yn watch your step." Steve's voice came from behind the doors.

"I'm fine." The girl replied coolly.

Then the door opened, revealing the three of them. Steve and Tony either sides of yn protectively as they sat opposite the leaders.

"Hello hello and hello." Tony said as he waved to them all. Then he stopped and pointed at one of the governors from America. "I saw you on the news while back, criticising us for discarding the Sokovia accords."

"The accords were written to remain in force, Mr Stark, your actions went against what was promised." The governor's lawyer defended. "Besides-"

"That's enough of that." The governor said gently. "Good morning to you too Mr Stark, Mr Rogers and Miss...."

"Yln." Yn said monotonously, giving her a cold look.

"Greetings, Miss Yn Yln." The governor said with a smile. Yn did not return the greetings. The governor's smile faltered, but he cleared his throat and continued anyways. "Thank you for joining us today at this negotiation, we appreciate your agreement to nego-"

"I'm sorry, our agreement?" Tony asked sarcastically. "You had no idea where we were, we contacted you. It was your agreement."

"....as the leaders of the leading countries, we have come to the agreement to allow the actions of the Avengers as a free association without government interference, however we would like to be informed before you do take action. We would also like to have government workers within your association as a sign of our truce. However since James Barnes have committed a series of assassinations during his time served to Hydra, we would like him behind bars for those who's life's he is responsible for. I believe that all sounds understandable am I right Mr Stark?"

"Hmm let me think...no, no, and...no." Tony replied, seemingly thoughtful. "Come on let's be honest. Inform you before we take action? Come on. You just want to label us under your arch. And we don't want your people in our association, meddling around with stuff. We work the way we have always worked, without being disrupted. Lastly, if I just mind control you to go and kill loads of people against your will, would you be happy to be put behind bars?"

"I believe the point he is trying to make is," Steve interjected, putting an arm on Tony's shoulder, signalling him to calm down, "as the avengers we were formed by SHIELD as a private organisation to fight the major battles against life threatening issues. We cannot allow our actions to be limited or disrupted during times of crisis and therefore informing you will be a barrier."

Tony pointed his hands in Steve's direction, approving of his words.

"We understand, however-" the governor begins to speak, but Steve did not allow him to continue.

"Your wish to add your men to our team can be understood, however I don't think it can be allowed by us." Steve continued. "Due to the nature that we do not trust those whom we cannot determine the loyalty of. Every one of the avengers have proven their loyalty, strength, determination and resilience in the past and we have a common goal of protecting Earth from other beings. Your men serve other purposes. They serve to bring out the best benefits to YOU, the government. In a crisis, they would preserve the governments rather than the people, which is why we cannot allow that."

"Yeah what he said, as well as the fact that you're just trying to control us and keep an eye on us." Tony added, yn looked at him and he shutted up.

"You must understand that it is our duty to-"

"Let him finish." Yn interjected, shutting up the governor again.

"The final point," steve continued once more. "Bucky was mind controlled into committing these crimes. It was against his will and he -"

"Mr Rogers," the governor spoke again. "Are you suggesting that the man responsible for several assassinations should be allowed to walk out free of charges?"

"Yes because he was mind controlled. Perhaps if you were able to prevent Hydra in the first place, this would have never happened." Tony said, shrugging and giving the governors the look.

The governor looked between the three of them, finally targeting the only one who have not presented any ideas. "Miss Yln, surely you can understand our approaches to be suitable?"

Yn looked at them. "I am in no place to judge, I am in the same position as Barnes."

Steve and Tony turned and looked at her rather disbelievingly, not understanding why she chose to expose that fact.

The governor blinked. "I beg your pardon?"

"Yn was another assassin they had trained in the past via mind control." Steve explained, trying to smoothen the situation.

"Does that mean you are another super soldier?" The governor asked, dumbfounded and completely off script. "Or an enhanced like the Maximoff twins?"

"Both." Yn replied calmly.

"Holy fuck."
