"We've gotta turn this ship around." Stephen said as soon as he regained control over himself. He walked over to the controls of the ship, feeling puzzled by all the switches and buttons.Tony watched him and crossed his arms. "Yeah. Now he wants to run. Great plan."
Stephen turned around and eyed him in annoyance. "No, I want to protect the stone."
"And I want you to thank me." Tony announced, walking closer to Stephen. "Go ahead. I'm listening."
"For what?" Stephen mocked, looking at him still. "Nearly blasting me into space?"
Tony looked at him like he just flopped on the spot. "Who just saved your magical ass?" He asked rhetorically. "Me."
"I seriously don't know how you fit your head into that helmet." Stephen said sarcastically, turning away from him and looking at yn with the controls. "Can you turn us back?"
"Admit it." Tony said, patting yn down. "You should have ducked out when I told you to. I tried to bench you. You refused."
"Unlike everyone else in your life, I don't work for you." Stephen replied, irritated.
"And due to that fact, we're now in a flying doughnut billions of miles away from Earth with no backup." Tony said back, equally as irritated.
"I'm backup." Peter essentially bounced up and looked at them hopefully.
"No. You're a stowaway." Yn said to him quietly.
"The adults are talking." Tony looked at him, shutting him up.
"I'm sorry, I'm confused as to the relationship here." Stephen looked at the three of them. "What is he, your ward?"
"No. I'm peter, by the way." Peter said, stepping forwards towards Stephen, his hand outstretched for a hand shake. Tony looked at them and rolled his eyes, taking yn with him to look at the controls.
"Doctor Strange."
"Oh we're using our made-up names. Um...I'm Spider-Man, then."
"This ship is self-correcting its course." Yn said as she analysed the piloting controls. "It's on autopilot."
"Can we control it? Fly us home?" Stephen asked, noticing how neither of the Starks are making eye contact. "Stark?"
"Yeah." Tony replied half heartedly.
"Can you get us home?" Strange repeated irritatedly.
"Yeah I heard you." Tony said as he turned around, arms folded. "I'm thinking...I'm not so sure we should."
"Under no circumstance can we bring the Time Stone to Thanos. I don't think you quite understand what's at stake here." Stephen immediately refused, giving tony Steve's look of disapproval again. Yn looked down. Why does everything remind her of Steve and Bucky so much?
"No. It's you who doesn't understand. Thanos has been inside my head for six years...Since he sent an army to New York and now he's back! And I don't know what to do. So I'm not so sure if it's a better plan to fight him on out turf or his but you saw what they did, what he can do." Tony said back, stepping towards Stephen to make his point clear. "At least on his turf, he's not expecting it. So I say we take the fight to him. Doctor. Do you concur?"
"This could give us an advantage if he's not expecting us." Yn explained after she snapped out of her thoughts. "Besides, you're the master of the mystic arts."
Strange paused for a second, mentally debating the liability of this option. "Alright , Stark. We go to him." He said finally, agreeing the them. "But you have to understand....if it comes to saving you or the kids or the Time Stone... I will not hesitate to let any of you die. I can't, because the fate of the universe depends on it."
