Becoming his (Bucky x yn x Steve)

16. Learning

For the next week or so, everytime the super soldiers appeared in the same room as yn, she could feel their gaze on her. It's like they're trying to say something but also trying to hide it at the same time. She tried not to dwell over it, but as the coassions turned from sometimes to all the time, she couldn't help but think they're plotting something against her. So she went and asked Wanda and Nat, one of which face palmed herself mentally as the other grinned evilly as she thought about how devastated the fossils would be if they knew this is how yn interpreted their action.

"So, you're telling me yn," Nat said as she tried to suppress her grin. "That you think the super soldiers are plotting something against you?"

"I can't tell, but judging by their actions, yes." Yn replied, not understanding why Nat is finding it so amusing.

Wanda threw her hands into the air as she sat upright. "Yn, during your time at Hydra, did you ever do human action analysis?"

"Yes. I did." Yn said, confused. "I studied all the symptoms of pre-attack and defence as well as body language of those who are alerted and un alerted. It was also an requirement to learn the difference between whether someone is ready to attack or ready to escape."

Nat and Wanda looked at each other and looked back at yn. Nat smiled again. "So, you didnt have emotional analysis?"

"No." Yn said as she looked at Nat with curiosity. "That was a requirement at the red room?"

"Well when I was there, yes." Nat replied, not feeling as daunted by her past as before. "It was a pretty big thing you know, being a widow. To be able to understand others emotions or manipulate them."

"I'm feeling a little bit jealous." Yn grunted and slumped down slightly. "You both can do it. Wanda does it magically, you doit physically. Teach me?" She asked as her eyes sparkled a little.

Nat and Wanda exchanged a look and signed together as they looked at the girl who they've decided to be a sister figure to.

"Please?" Yn said, blinking at them. She had recently found that this worked with almost everyone. If she stood or sat in front of them and made sure she appeared shorter than whoever she's trying to plead and just blink and blink and blink, they'd usually sign and agree.

"See that there yn?" Nat said as he smacked yn on the head gently. "That's a form of manipulation already. Batting your eyelashes and looking at us like that."

"You haven't answered my question!" Yn said looking at Wanda and Nat still.

"Yes, yes yes." Wanda said, chuckling a little. Sometimes, the childish and playful side of yn reminded her slightly of Pietro. "Lesson one. Let's teach you how to spot how people feel towards you."

"Yay." Yn said with a bit of happiness in her tone.

"Okay so." Nat said, sitting forwards slightly. "If someone you don't know came up to you with their hands outstretched and tried to come close to you, what do you think they're trying to do and what would you do?"

"They are trying to attack me and I'd attack them first." Yn said without hesitation. "I'd dislocate their arms and question their motive."

".........."

".....no. They're probably not trying to attack you, they're trying to touch you and take advantage of you. But they might also be trying to push you out of danger." Nat explained, rubbing the side of her head slightly.

"You must be able to distinguish if they mean you harm, or aide." Wanda said softly.

"But if they are trying to take advantage of you, your approach would be legitimate." Nat said as she raised her cup up and drank from it. Even though it was just water in there.

"No no no!" Wanda said frantically. "You stop them, warn them and if they don't listen, then you attack them. Okay?"

"Right." Yn said, nodding to herself and making a mental note of the lesson.

"Okay, moving on to the next situation." Wanda said, thinking to herself. "So. If you're walking around and someone asks you for directions, what do you do."

"I tell them." Yn said and blinked. That was too easy.

"Good. So you tell them the way, and now they ask you if you can lead them there." Nat continues. "Now what do you do?"

"I lead them there." Yn replied, still thinking it's too easy.

"No." Wanda said, shaking her head. "You tell them the way and not lead them there. They could potentially have a whole group of people there waiting to kidnap you and sell you back to hydra or something."

"So?" Yn shrugged. "I can just kill them."

"No no NO!" Wanda yelled, red sparks fluttering everywhere as she lost control slightly of her emotions. Yn patted some of the sparks playfully. "No killing! We just make sure they get given to the police. Okay?"

"Okay wand." Yn replied, patting her on the head a little to soothe her.

Nat watched all this as she shook her head. This is gonna take a while.

After at least 2 hours of mentoring with Wanda and Nat, yn walked out of the room feeling like a whole new person. Wanda and Nat followed her closely, not entirely sure whether they taught her well or terribly.

Their teachings was soon put to a test when redwing zoomed past them, being chased vigorously by Bucky and Sam.

"Yn oh my god!" Sam said, panting and slightly out of breath. "You see redwing?"

"Yes." Yn said as she pointed towards the direction redwing had flown towards. "Over there."

"Thanks. It decided to go out of control for some reasons, it might be all the projectors messing with his systems a bit, Stark's helping us fix him." Bucky explained, rolling his eyes. "Personally, I'd rather smash it myself."

"Shut it Barnes." Sam said before turning to yn. "Yn could you help us to it?"

Nat and Wanda looked at her carefully. Yn thought for a second. "No."

"Why not?" Sam asked, confused by her rejection.

Nat and Wanda looked down at the floor, not quite sure what to do. Wanda gently tugged on yn's arm as she continued speaking. "Because you are going to have a group of people who's re going to fight me and sell me to Hydra."

A very long silence.

"What???" Bucky was the first to question the girl's confusing word. "You said what doll?"

"....yn sam's a friend, he won't do that." Wanda explained gently. "You can trust any one of the avengers, just maybe not the people outside our circle."

"I mean, we don't know what Sam's capable of really." Nat joked sarcastically, earning a punch from Wanda.

"ANYWAYS," Wanda exclaims after shutting up Nat. "If it's any one of the avengers you can trust them."

"???.???" Sam felt like he's so confused right now that there are probably question marks hanging over his head, although Bucky felt similar, he still found the situation quite funny.

"Okay, I'll help you get it." Yn said as she stood up and dragged Sam away towards the direction red wing had flown off to.

Sam gasped as the girl dragged him running at the speed of what felt like a billion miles per hour, the only last thing they could hear echoing in the air was Sam's voice as he regained balance in the air. "What the f-"
