"How could you miss a dead body?" Wednesday was walking towards Weems office as she was getting interrogated by Sheriff Galpin.

"Cause it wasn't there." Galpin scoffed at the teen girl, he had grew to dislike her because of her connection with her father.

"No footprints, no blood, no sign of a struggle. Nothing, nada." He continued. "My search party looked all night."

"Well, your search party must have left their seeing-eye dogs at home." Wednesday side eyed the Sheriff as she walked up the white stairs.

"I saw that monster kill Rowan right in front of me, and if you don't believe me. Then you can even ask Y/N L/N about it." The dark girl suggested.

"Get a good look at this minster thing?" Galpin asked. "It didn't stick around for a chat." She responded.

"Maybe it was one of your classmates." When Galpin said that suddenly Weems stopped walking.

"Sheriff, I find that question offensive." Weems said.

"Well I don't care, cause I got three other dead bodies in the morgue. Hikers just ripped apart in the woods." The Sheriff angrily remarked.

"The mayor said those were bear attacks." Weems showed a doubtful expression.

"Well, the mayor and I disagree on that." He clicked his tounge, Wednesday observed them argue.

"So you automatically assume a Nevermore student is the murderer, even though there's no evidence a crime was even committed." The principal told him off.

Galpin exchanged a look at Wednesday before replying. "I'm sorry. I forgot, you only teach the good outcasts here, right?"

Weems sighed as she opened the door to her office. "My guess is Rowan ran away."

"Safe troopers have put out an alert and I've contacted his family, but they haven't heard from him either." She sat down in her chair.

"Dead people are notoriously bad at returning calls." Wednesday sarcastically said.

"What were you doing out in the woods with him, Ms. Addams?" Galpin takes a seat on one of the chairs.

"I heard a noise in the forest and went to go investigate." She held her hand as she responded clearly. "That's when I stumbled upon the attack."

"Then what happened." Galpin gave Weems a look of doubt.

"Then Y/N and I ran into Bianca Barclay, and I told her to go for help." She paused. "Next thing I remember I was awaking in my dorm.

"And just to be clear, this monster wasn't a beat or some other wild animal?"

"I've hibernated with grizzlies, I know the difference." She deadpanned at him.

"Thank you Sheriff." Weems stood up from her chair. "I think Miss Addams is done now."

"Actually, I would like to speak to Sheriff Galpin. Alone." Wednesday added emphasis on the last part.

"I'm not sure I can allow that." Weems turned to the student.

"I'm sure I could take her to the station and get a formal statement." Galpin said from the chair giving the principal a quick smile.

"Yeah let's go." He stood up. "Fine." Weems harshly said giving up.

"You have five minutes, and everything is off the record.. play nice. Or I will call the mayor." She walked pass the two.

The second Wednesday saw the door close she immediately went in.

"Someone is trying to cover Rowan's murder, that's the only reason to scrub the crime scene."
