(Chapter 10) Lucky Punch

It was now night time and the moon was shining just as much as the stars.

The 'ordinary' barista Tyler Galpin was making his way to Crackstone's Crypt after getting an invention from Wednesday.

"Thing gave me your note." He took a step closer to the gothic girl. "I was suprised you wanted to see me again after you ran off the other night." He continued hinting at what happened last night.

"So, uh, is this a date?" The brunette crossed his arms. "It's a suprise." Wednesday spoke up causing Tyler to wryly chuckle.

Tyler took another step closer and as he leaned in, Wednesday moved away from him.

"When I came to Nevermore, romance was the last thing on mind. But when you kissed me, you opened my eyes and suddenly it all made sense." She said.

"Xaiver warned me about you, but I didn't listen." Wednesday added causing Tyler to let out a confused scoff. "Ironic now, huh?"

"Ironic would've been framing Xaiver for murder, while the real Hyde helped me put him away." As she said that she watched how his smile fell.

"Wait... you don't think-"

"I don't think. I know." Wednesday walked up to him again. "Kinbott probably discovered your secret during one of your sessions. So she unlocked you."

"Why'd you kill her? I thought Hydes were typically loyal to their masters."

"Wednesday, seriously, this is nuts." The brunette furrowed his brows.

"On Outreach day, I told you I was visiting the old meeting house. Did Kinbott send you to spy on me?" She began explaining.

"I heard that you attended the Rave'N. You heard me and Eugene discussing your cave in the woods, and you warned Kinbott. Eugene probably saw her torching it."

"Then she sent you to clean up her mess. I have to hand it to you, Tyler. Wounding yourself that night at the Gates mansion, you probably would've gotten away with it if you hadn't received that scar from Y/N." She gestured at his neck scar.

"Okay, stop. Do you know how insane you sound right now?" Tyler scoffed. " I'm not a monster. A-And if you really thought that I was, why would you risk bringing me out to the woods to confront me alone?"

"Who said I was alone?" Wednesday nonchalantingly said as the Nightshades began revealing themselves one by one. Surrounding the boy.

"Okay, I don't know what kind of sick joke you're playing, but I'm out of here." Tyler began walking away but he didn't make it that far.

"Actually, you're coming with us." Bianca used her siren powers to manipulate the barista.

"Wakey, wakey biatch." Y/N said causing Tyler wake from passing out and his vision unblurred revealing Y/N and Wednesday standing right infront of him.

"Welcome back." Wednesday glared at Tyler.

He looked around with a confused expression, examining the paintings of the Hyde.

"Where the hell am I?" Tyler tried moving but couldn't since his wrists were tied with a metal chain.

"Somewhere no one can hear your screams." The raven head told him.

"What's with the chains?" The brunette began panicking. "Don't ask stupid questions." Wednesday replied.

"Wednesday, this is crazy. I'm a normie." Tyler looked up to the dark eyed girl. "That's only half true." She responded and reached out for a picture.

"Do you recognize her?" She pointed at a lady far to the left in the fencing club photo. "Prehaps if I hadn't been so distracted by my own mother hogging this photo, I would've noticed yours sooner. Your father fell in love and married an outcast."
