If you are confused at this point in the story AFO is in Tartarus meaning this is happening sometime after Katsuki was kidnapped.

"Sensei, this is bullshit! I'm not the damn traitor!" Katsuki slammed his fist against the desk.

"I know," Aizawa sighed "But you are the only suspect right now. I hate this situation, but if we don't figure this out, you are the one that's going to end up going down for this. Do you have anything you can give me?"

"No," Katsuki ran a shackled hand through his hair, "This has to be the league, they're mad I refused them or something,"

"That's plausible," They turned to Izuku. "If that's true then maybe they're trying to push you into their arms? Based on how things went when they kidnapped you we know they'd rather have you join them willingly rather than by force," He suggested.

"How would this make him join them of his own accord?" Aizawa questioned.

"Think about it," he shifted in his seat "If you were in Katauki's place and suddenly everyone was turning against you and treating you like a villain, then the very villains he's being accused of helping come to his rescue: what would you do?

He'd be in a vulnerable mindset and would feel like he had no one but then here come the villains to manipulate his mind. They'd make him feel like they're the only ones on his side and use the situation they created as "proof" that hero society is corrupt and needs to be broken.

Katsuki is strong willed so that probably wouldn't work on him right away, but being locked away in Tartarus and away from his mate? He'd probably do just about anything to get back to Kiri," Izuku explained.

"I hadn't even considered that," Aizawa mumbled.

Katsuki froze up, "How- how did you know that we're mated?"

Izuku just gave him a blank look, "Did you really think I, of all people, wouldn't notice? Your scents are practically one in the same now,"

Katsuki looked like he just realized how slow he was, "Oh,"

"But there's also the possibility that there was never a traitor, to begin with," Izuku cupped his hands under his chin now in deep thought.

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"Well now that I'm thinking back on everything, some things just aren't adding up to there being a traitor. First off I feel as though we would have caught a traitor within our class by now. With how close we all are, deceiving us and putting us in danger would likely cause them distress.

So if there was a traitor they'd likely avoid getting too close to the rest of us and they especially wouldn't bond with anyone. But all of us are bonded to at least two other classmates, on top of that, I would have smelt the distress and guilt in their smell.

So it doesn't make sense for us to have a traitor and it definitely doesn't make sense for Katsuki to be them. I mean has no one considered the possibility that AFO has a quirk that could have helped the league gather that information?

We know that he was pulling the strings behind the scenes, but ever since he got locked away the league hasn't directly attacked us once. Any incident involving us and them has purely been by coincidence, right? What evidence do they even have against him?" Izuku asked.

"I don't know, they're being pretty tight-lipped about it right now," Aizawa sighed "We have to go soon, after this we probably won't be able to speak to you for a while. They likely just allowed us in here to get us to convince you to confess," He mumbled as he and Izuku stood up.

"Yeah...hey Deku can I talk to you for a second? Alone?" Katsuki turned to him.

Izuku looked at Aizawa who patted his shoulder and headed for the door so Izuku slowly sat back down.

"What do you think is gonna happen to him?" Aoyama quietly asked.

He and Izuku were currently in Izuku's dorm watching a movie though neither of them were really watching it. It was more of a distraction to take their minds off the fucked up situation they were currently dealing with.

"I don't know, I put the idea in their heads that the villains could be framing him or that there isn't even a traitor and AFO just had a quirk, but if they have damning evidence against Katsuki I'm not sure what I can do...

I don't want to see anyone get wrongfully accused of anything, but if I'm being truthful I'd rather it be him than you," Izuku said quietly as he tugged on his ear.

"Izuku," Aoyama sat up and looked at him as he nervously tugged on his own ear.

"This isn't fair to you, it's your parent's fault that you are even in this situation, their choices caused this. I promised to protect you and I intend to, if I have to then...then I'll take the wrap for this. I won't let anything happen to you, I swear on my life," Izuku told him.

Aoyama frowned and shook his head as his tears fell, "I don't want anyone to go down for this, especially you Izuku, I-I need you here with me ok? I don't want a-anything to happen to you,"

"Yu..."

Aoyama cried more, "I don't ever want to b-be apart from you, you're my best friend a-and I'm lost without you. I wouldn't know what to d-do if you weren't here with me. Promise you won't leave me ok, p-promise me that you won't go a-anywhere. Tell me that y-you'll always stay by my s-side-"

Izuku leaned forward kissing Aoyama, promptly making him shut up as his eyes widened. Izuku realized what he did and quickly pulled away, now panicked.

"Shit I-i'm sorry! I-"

Aoyama leaned forward kissing him deeply and Izuku kissed back, gently gripping the Omega's face. Aoyama kissed him desperately as more tears fell and Izuku held him closely, not able to control his happy scent. He immediately panicked thinking Aoyama would find it repulsive but the Omega just purred releasing his own happy scent. This made a deep rumble leave Izuku's throat as they pulled away for breath.

"Yu," Izuku looked into his eyes worriedly.

Aoyama just smiled a little, his face slightly flushed, "So you do like me after all," He said quietly "I almost thought you didn't since you never courted me,"

"I didn't think you'd accept it, you liked Tenya-"

"We haven't been courting for nearly a month now,"

"Yes, but you were still recovering from what happened and him dropping you. It didn't feel appropriate," Izuku frowned.

"Well, I want you to court me now," Aoyama placed their foreheads together. "I've been thinking about this for a while now, you're the only person for me. Out of everyone, even my own parents, you are the only person who really sees me and understands me. You protect me and care for me no matter what and you've been here for me like no one ever has. You're the only person I'd ever be happy mating, I just wish I realized that sooner," he said tearily.

"Are you sure you want me to be your mate? It won't be easy...I'm still an Enigma," Izuku said lowly.

"I'm not looking for something easy, I love you Izuku. All of you, flaws included," Aoyama smiled "and if you can still love me despite everything you've found out then please, let me court you,"

Izuku chuckled a bit, "Shouldn't I be the one courting you?"

"We can court each other and hopefully once things calm down we can...get mated?" Aoyama said hopefully.

Izuku placed a small kiss on his forehead, "I won't let anything stop me from making you, my mate, even if the worst happens I'll break in or out if Tartarus,all to be with you. That's a promise,"

Aoyama wiped his tears, "I'm gonna hold you to that,"
