!Nova's POV!

I went inside my house without sparing another glace at Edward.

Ofcourse dad and Bella were sleeping so I quickly packed my bag and took all the necessary items like my hairbrush, toothbrush, etc., then I packed my laptop system and was ready to go.

I quickly kept all my stuffs in my jeep and went to wake dad.

It was 5:40 a.m. and I wanted to leave as soon as possible.

I quickly went to dad's room and shook him.

"Dad? Dad!" I exclaimed waking him up.

"Yeah? What?" He said sleepily.

"I'm leaving for New York" I said and he jolted up.

!Charlie's POV!

"What?" I asked all my sleep vanished.

"I am leaving for New York" She said again.

"When?" I asked.

"Right now" She said and I quickly got out of bed.

"How and why?!?!" I exclaimed surprised.

"Important work, cannot tell but wanted to say bye" She said making me look at her in concern.

"I cannot just let you go, Nova!" I exclaimed and she rubbed her forehead.

"Dad, it's important, the man that came yesterday evening came again near four in the morning and now I have to leave" She said.

"When will you come back?" I asked and she sighed.

"To be honest I don't know but if anyone comes and asks about me just tell them 'she was planning something and from what she told me it was something about her powers', okay?" She said and I shook my head.

"I will never put you in danger, Nova, I just got you back!" I said and she sighed.

"Dad you need to understand that your daughter is an Avenger and she is not going to die so easily" She said with a smirk.

"Just tell me that how are you going?" I asked again.

"By my jeep, it's getting late I goota go" She said getting out of my room and I followed her out the house.

I didn't wanted her to leave this house, I wanted her to be safe but I guess I am just a trash dad.

I sniffed and hugged her tightly.

"Don't put yourself in danger" I said and she smiled.

"I'll try" She said making me exclaim.

"Nova!"

"Okay, okay, sorry dad, I'll not die!" She said laughing as she raised her hands in surrender.

"Go kick some asses" I said planting a kiss on her forehead and she smiled.

"Bye" she said getting inside the care and starting it as I waved at her and she drove away making me sigh.

"Just be safe, pumpkin" I muttered to myself before going inside the house and figuring out an excuse to make for her school.

!Nova's POV!

I was feeling angry, disgusted and self-pity because I let myself fall for Edward and lied to dad about Adelard coming again!

I never knew I would break so hard and the one who would break me would be Edward.

Now I think about the moments with him I only feel stupid to even think for a second that anything in my life would end in a happy ending.
