Gathering Honey

Victor arrived at Honeycalm Island and looked around before seeing Hop there looking for a Vespiquen.

"There you are, Victor! Glad you could finally make it! I've seen loads of Combee around, but no sign of Vespiquen so far... But they're the ones that'd have sticky honey." Hop said when suddenly a beeping sound came from his pocket "Huh? I borrowed a Power Spot Detector from Sonia, but why's it going off now? Is it...reacting to this tree here? Something's got to be up, Victor! I think we should check it out!"

Victor just nodded and slowly walked towards the tree, and shook it as well as he could.

"Wh-what is happening now?!" Hop said as Victor fell, soon Hop fell as well and he shouted "Gyargh?!"

Victor found himself in a Pokémon den, confronted by a Dynamax Vespiquen.

Victor sent out his Charizard and readied himself as the Vespiquen used Max Flutterby. Victor then Gigantamaxed his Charizard and had it use G-Max Wildfire.

Soon the entire den was going crazy with fire and butterflies as the two Dynamax Pokémon used their moves a second time.

Victor was then pushed away by a group of Butterflies that flew in his face, and Victor shouted.

"Charizard, use go max Wildfire!" Victor shouted as his Charizard shot fire in all directions and incinerated all of the butterflies, and then Victor jumped to a rock and hid as the fire heated up the den and the Vespiquen seemed to cry in pain. When the fire had ended Victor looked and saw the Vespiquen faint in a large explosion.

Victor then returned Charizard who was extremely tired.

"I sure wasn't expecting a Dynamaxed Vespiquen to come swooping out to attack us! I was too shocked to even think of joining you in the battle! That is some seriously sticky honey. I'm sure it's the certain something Urshifu loves!" Hop said "And it seems like that honey was setting off my Power Spot Detector, too. The Max Mushrooms and this honey you can find on the Isle of Armor... they both seem to have some kind of tie to Dynamaxing and Gigantamaxing. There's tons we don't yet know about it, so there's tons of research just waiting to be done. Come on! You got the thing you were looking for, so let's head back to the dojo at once!"
