Join Victor and Gloria as they each travel through the Isle of Armor to achieve their goals.
Gloria wishes to become stronger, and Victor wishes to learn the secrets of Dynamax.
Victor entered the final floor of the tower and saw Mustard sitting there, waiting for him. Victor walked up to Mustard who got up and cleared his throat to speak.
"There you are... I figured you'd choose the Tower of Waters, so I decided to wait for you here. Victor, Kubfu-you've both done well to get this far. Your final opponent is little old me!" Mustard said as he got up "It's been a while since the last time I battled like this...but I think you can handle it! A stream too clear is avoided by fish Pokémon...We all need some darkness in ourselves. Let me be the one to teach you the final lesson on the essence of water!"
"You're on!" Victor shouted as both trainers sent out their Kubfus.
"Watch closely, Victor! This is what Kubfu's fists are truly capable of!" Mustard shouted as his Kubfu used Aerial Ace.
"Kubfu use Counter!" Victor shouted as his Kubfu dealt an extra powerful hit against Mustard's Kubfu which was sent flying against the wall.
"Kubfu use Brick Break!" Mustard shouted as his Kubfu Karate chopped Victor's, and then used Aerial Ace as it was on the ground.
"Kubfu use Close Combat!" Victor shouted as his Kubfu dealt a flurry of powerful blow after Powerful blow, that sent Mustard's Kubfu against the wall, and then continued to persist.
"Kubfu use Aerial Ace!" Mustard shouted as his Kubfu jumped up into the air and then went into a pose that allowed it to hang in the air for a second, before kicking the wall and ramming into Victor's Kubfu which splintered the flooring of the Tower.
"Kubfu, hang in there!" Victor shouted as he walked up to Kubfu and used a Max Potion on it and it healed quickly before getting Karate chopped by Mustard's Kubfu.
"Kubfu retaliate with Focus Punch!" Victor shouted as his Kubfu jumped up and focused all of it's energy into it's fist and then opened it's eyes as Mustard's Kubfu jumped at Victor's to use Aerial Ace, but they both hit each other and they were both sent back against the walls and shattered the walls they crashed into before getting up and staring at the other.
Victor's Kubfu then fell to one knee as Mustard's did the same.
Victor then shouted "Kubfu hang in there, you can do it!"
Meanwhile Mustard shouted "Kubfu you can do it!"
Suddenly Mustard's Kubfu fell face first into the ground and returned to it's Poké Ball as Victor brought back his Kubfu, before walking up to Mustard who smiled.
"You young folk grow so fast! It never ceases to amaze me." Mustard said "What a team! Impressive... Most impressive! Fuhaha! I knew you were worthy of my trust, Victor You have done well-very well indeed-in raising Kubfu to this level of strength! Leon was once my best student...a long time ago. He, too, attempted this trial... But he never made it to either tower! He got lost along the way! Fuhahaha! Now it's finally time for Kubfu to evolve! Go and show Kubfu the Scroll of Waters. Kubfu is ready now!"
Victor then brought out Kubfu who looked at the Scroll of Waters and became enveloped in a bright light that only left a Rapid-Strike Urshifu.

"Behold! Before you stands Urshifu! Sure to be unyielding armor that will shatter any blade turned against it... And it has mastered the style of water! Ha! You've certainly grown, haven't you?" And to think, not long ago you would've run and hid behind me the moment you got scared! Indeed, no matter how old I get, witnessing someone grow always brings joy to my heart. Victor! Urshifu! Thank you both, from the bottom of my heart" Mustard then took a breath before seemingly preparing to leave "Oh! I almost forgot. I give this to anyone who has faced me when I was taking the battle seriously! Now then, let's head back to the dojo!"
As Mustard left, he spoke to himself.
"Such talent and strength...perhaps the time has come" Mustard whispered to himself as he left.
