“So, this is the game arena? “

The golden brunette questioned the blond male next to her.

“I mean, this is the only building that has lights.“

Chishiya commented on her question before he started walking towards the big mall, ‘Ugh…  I wish I could stay in my bed.’

At the entrance of the mall stood six people, one woman, two guys with cuts all over their faces, and three girls in dresses that looked expensive.

Yusari noticed Chishiya put his hood over his head he also lowered his head, we both had our headphones in our ears as we waited for something to happen.

Chishiya is clever and sharp-minded, and Yusari is capable of fighting and manipulative. Those two were perfect teammates if you ask the Yusari.

“There are currently eight participants. The game will now commence.”

Chishiya and Yusari took the headphones out of their ears and put them in their pockets, Chishiya looked at the girl who was struggling to keep a normal and focused look on her face, she was worried and nervous and even an idiot could see it.

Chishiya’s hand wrapped itself around Yusari’s shoulder and pulled her closer to his body to reassure her that everything will be alright.

Yusari smiled at the act of kindness that rarely happens around Chishiya, light shade of red covered her cheeks which didn’t go unnoticed by Chishiya. A smirk formed on his face.

“Game: 7 of clubs. “

“Rules: The players must split into two teams one team goes to the left side of the mall and the second goes to the right side, the lights will turn off and the floor is going to fall into the void of darkness. Both teams have to pull on the rope that is in front of them to survive. The team that stays on the platform survives. “

“Time limit: 50 minutes.”

Chishiya moved his arm away which cause Yusari to look at him, he intervened their hands as he pulled Yusari with him.

Chishiya walked over to the woman with glasses covering her face, she looked strong.

“Team? “ Chishiya simply said and the woman nodded not wanting to say anything, she looked like she was bored.

A buff guy with cuts walked over to the group of three, seems like he knew the woman with glasses since he invited himself to their team.

“Each team has to go on the platforms, let’s go on the right one since there is more light there than on the left one. “

Yusari explained causing the woman in glasses to nod, behind her glasses she was quite pleased with the brain of the young girl.

Chishiya’s and Yusari’s team walked over to the right platform as the other team walked over to the left one.

‘The platform on the left seems more wiggly, looks like we picked the right platform. ‘

Chishiya pat Yusari’s head and smirked at her. “Clever girl. “

Yusari smiled at the praise she was getting, this was Chishiya’s thing he would always pat Yusari’s head whenever he thought she needed to be praised.

“The game will now begin”
