It's been quite some time since the trio left the lobby before they got caught in all this killing, Yusari watched humans kill their own kind just so they could survive; it was horrible.
Yusari was a doctor in the normal world, she was used to all these dead bodies but one thing that disturbed her was when humans chose to go wild and kill their own kind.
Sometimes Yusari couldn't comprehend, was it for revenge? Or perhaps, rage. It was a question that was still waiting to be answered.

"Damn, they really took Aguni's words seriously."
Yusari commented looking at the screens of the cameras that caught some of the militants shooting two girls as they ran.
Kuina shook her head standing next to Yusari who was sitting on a chair, relaxing her legs in case she needed to run.

" They went nuts."
The black-haired girl with a cigarette resting in her mouth added, her hands were crossed on her stomach as she watched the screens with a severe look on her pale face.

"How unpleasant. Why would they go so far just to survive?" Chishiya spoke up, Yusari was sure that he said that sarcastically.

"Like you're any better." Remarked Yusari spinning her head towards him only to see a smirk on his handsome face, the girl wondered if his lips would ever hurt from the smirk he constantly carries.

"That hurt."
He said only for Yusari to add.
"Good to know that I can hurt you."

The brown-haired girl grinned at the table in front of her at his sarcastic words, 'Amazing, he still has a bit of humor left in him.'
Yusari thought.

"There's no way they'll find the witch like this."
Kuina spoke up after being silent for a couple of minutes, she seemed concerned. Yusari thought it was because they couldn't leave now and because of the stupid militants they couldn't even find the witch.

The thought of Kuina worrying about that made Yusari uneasy. It was difficult to find the witch if all the militants were running around and firing like crazy, she didn't know what to do but sit and watch people die horrible deaths.

"The witch could be you Kuina or perhaps, Yusari."
Chishiya said looking at Kuina and then moving his gaze to Yusari who stood up and leaned on the table behind her, she grinned mischievously.

"Oh, great job! It was us, are you gonna throw both of us in the fire now?"
The girl frowned at him with passion in her nearly closed eyes.
Kuina smirked at the girl next to her enjoying the answer she gave the annoying but clever male.

Chishiya looked at Yusari from the side, she stared back at him not knowing what to say it would be odd to break eye contact and leave him standing there so she just kept looking.
Chishiya let out a breath-chuckle and removed his eyes from Yusari who playfully rolled her eyes at him.

Yusari removed her eyes from the guy and looked at the screen, one thing that caught her attention was the turned-off lights in one room that was unfamiliar to Yusari. The light of a flashlight meant that someone was looking for something and didn't want others to find them.

Kuina and Yusari looked at each other after staring at the screen of the computer, and both of them nodded at each other.

"Hey Chishiya, Yusari and I are going to check something out. We'll meet you on the top floor."
Kuina told the guy who listened to them, he kept his eyes on Yusari secretly not wanting her to be exposed to danger even though he knew it was not okay to boss her around.
He nodded.
