"The wound was deep, which implies that there's no possibility of him surviving."
Yusari walked with Chishiya while explaining the wound Hatter had.

"Wait a moment we need Kuina's update on how  things are on her side."
Chishiya remembered that Kuina was still on guard, the girl next to Chishiya widened her eyes and quickly hurried the male to take out his walkie-talkie and communicate with the girl on the other side.

"How are things on your side, Kuina?"
Questioned Chishiya patiently waiting for a response.
Yusari started getting stressed from the situation that occurred, she wasn't sure if their plan would succeed and if they would be able to escape together, of course, she hoped for the best in her mind.

"Aguni is still in his room."
Thankfully, Kuina responded.
Her voice was quiet and it gave Yusari 'I'm bored' vibes.

"I'm so bored now."
And as expectedly the girl on the other side of the walkie-talkie added.
Yusari rolled her eyes playfully before gently taking Chishiya's hand—the one with the walkie-talkie—and pulling it closer to her face.

"Kuina, I promise, if we manage to live I will get you anything just focus."
Yusari nervously said into the phone and on the other side a snicker was heard.

"Got it. "

Yusari's pov

I walked into the hallway where Kuina was leaning against the wall, the girl smirked when she saw me because she knew the exact reason why I'm there.

"Did your overprotective boyfriend make you come here so you stay safe in case you both got caught?"
The girl asked me with a snarky smirk appearing on her light pink lips, my eyes rolled playfully before I leaned on the wall next to her.

"Yup."
Comfortable silence took over the both of us as we waited for Chishiya to snatch the playing cards and escape.

" You think that we'll be friends after all this?"
Asked Kuina looking at the ceiling above both of us, I glanced at the girl only to see a relaxed look on her face.
She seemed a bit sad but I choose to not pry or question her in case it makes her uncomfortable.

"Of course, you're an interesting type of a person."
I answered causing the girl to chuckle a bit, she looked at me with confusion in her brown eyes.

"What do you mean
an interesting type of person?"
She questioned me, her eyes were now on me and of course, I looked back at her.
I pressed an index finger on my lips as I put my words together.

"Well, I don't know I just think that you are a really good friend. You're the type of friend who would send  messages to someone at 3 am."
Kuina snickered at my comment before agreeing with me.

"I took the cards, they were behind the painting like I thought."
Chishiya was heard on our walkie-talkies and both Kuina and I raised them.

"So you used him for this?"
Asked Kuina with a bit of guilty on her face I could understand where it came from because I would feel extra remorseful if it wasn't for my mother who taught me to disguise my emotions and not be sentimental.

A sigh was heard on the other side before Chishiya finally spoke up.

"To gain something, you need to lose something."
