Chapter 11

I'm presumably gonna keep this book in Yusari's pov but you will notice if I change my mind.
Also just to say I change my mind a lot so I will most likely gonna change the pov.

Yusari's pov

The closer Chishiya and I got to the door the bigger feeling of uneasiness formed in my chest. It was like I felt something bad was about to happen, maybe I should listen to my guts just like everyone else does

I looked up from the floor and followed Chishiya who turned left, closer to the door I saw the same male from before. A smirk appeared on my face and I quickly took off my hood.

"We finally meet."

The guy looked at us like he saw a ghost.
Of course, he's surprised to see us I mean he didn't see us since we were in the lobby.

Chishiya's hood was off and his hands were resting in his pockets while my hands were by my sides. I didn't bother fixing my hair since it was already in a ponytail.

"So you noticed that too?"

"Yes. The safe zone is in this apartment."

Suddenly something clicked in my brain.
"Wait!"
Both guys turned to look at me, I stepped closer to the door and placed my ear on it. 'I can't hear anything.'

"What?"

"If the tagger already knew that this was the safe zone then why didn't he just wait here?"
I raised a question and looked at Chishiya who had a smirk on his face.
Looks like my question seemed to stop the other guy as well since he was now clasping the handle but he wasn't twisting it.

"Seems like there's something we don't know."

'Of course Chishiya and his lame answers.'

He pulled out his phone and raised it for both of us to see.

"However, if you don't open it..."

The brown-haired male quickly nodded and twisted the handle, slowly he walked inside and I followed close behind him.

I felt Chishiya's hand on my shoulder which resulted in me stopping and looking at him, he just shook his head and yanked me behind him.
'Funny how he is trying to defend me but I'm the one who knows how to fight in this relationship.'

I looked around making sure that there were no people hidden, I didn't enjoy the surprise attacks.
The apartment was white and nearly empty there was another good and a bathroom to our left.

The three of us gathered in front of the door listening quietly, the brown-haired male suddenly turned around and widened his eyes. I turned around as fast as he did and saw another horse mask.

"Look out!" The guy shoved Chishiya out of the way and quickly hopped the other way. The light of the gun caught my attention but so did Chishiya who pulled himself up and tased the horse mask.

Slowly both of us stood up right after the tagger fell on the ground, 'he can't die because the laser has the power only to send him to the ground and give him an electric shock'

"Move out of the way!" I pushed the brown-haired guy towards the door and Chishiya outside the room just before the tagger started shooting again.

Of course, I jumped out of their way and as quickly as I did that I kicked the gun out of their hands.

"Yusari!"
Chishiya yelled before snatching my hand and yanking me outside, and quickly after the door slammed shut.

"Oh goodness, I was about to beat their ass."
I frowned at Chishiya who was currently sitting next to the door holding it.

"Or your ass would be bleeding."
He responded.
"Let that guy finish the job."

I sighed and sat on the other side of the door, my heart was beating fast. This tagger seems to have less strength than the other one had, they were also shorter.

"I think this dagger might be a woman, their aim is horrible and they have less strength than the other one had."

Chishiya looked at me, his breathing was normal again.

"Someone, please come over. The safe zone is in apartment 406! It's impossible to clear the game alone! We need two people to do this!"

"Seriously?"
"Really?"
Chishiya and I said in unison, I quickly stood up and looked down at him.
"Meet me at the lobby if we get separated."

I informed him before I ran to the other side trying to find the window of apartment 406.
When I finally did I witnessed the girl already climbing towards it, I was slightly impressed by her jumping from one window to another window.

"Well might as well do the same thing."
I mumbled before running on the half wall and jumping off it, I quickly caught the fence of a balcony. My hands pulled the rest of my body up and my legs meet the ground, I jumped on the fence and somehow managed to enter the room at the same time the girl did.

She grinned at me before saying.
"You called?"
Just as she said that we moved out of the way as the machine gun began firing at us.

My legs pulled themselves and caused me to jump off a wall and kick the tagger's gun away, in the air I turned around and fell near the balcony.
I lifted my head and saw the girl jump and tase the tagger with Chishiya's taser.
Just as fast as she did that I snatched the machine gun and held it against the head of the tagger.

Luckily the other two ran toward the buttons and pressed them just before the timer ended.

I smirked and threw away the machine gun, my eyes caught the sight of Chishiya standing in front of the room.
I quickly left the room and stood behind Chishiya to see the death of the tagger.

My smirk grew even larger when I noticed that the tagger was a woman, Chishiya stared down at the woman with a slight glare, and the other two looked at her nervously. The thing around her neck beeped faster and faster and seconds after her head blew up.

My eyes raised as I stared at her surprised, while Chishiya had a surprised grin on his face as his eyes scanned the blood on the wall.
