Chapter 17

"With Hatter gone as the previous Number One, I now have full control over the Beach."
Yusari carefully listened to Aguni's speech, it's been a couple of minutes after Arisu entered the royal suite and she started regretting her decision; even though Chishiya already told her millions of times that if he is lucky he will survive.

The girl had a hood over her head because she thought it might help and keep her hidden, she also had a black bikini top and cream-colored cargo pants.
She put her hair in a ponytail with her curtain bangs perfectly covering her face.
Yusari felt comfortable and felt like it would be easy to fight in cargo pants which is why she choose them.

The girl turned her head towards the guy who let out a breath-chuckle at Aguni's terms.

"I'm not listening, did he say something funny?"
The girl asked while chewing on the tasty gum in her mouth.

"Just some ridiculous things."
Answered Chishiya holding the walkie-talkie close to his mouth.

"I found it. So what's the passcode?"
Asked Arisu.

A smirk raised on Yusari's face after she heard Arisu announce his discovery, she leaned on the railing and watched the Beach members all scared and confused.

"It's 8022."
Answered Chishiya confidently.
He stared at the wall with a smirk on his mouth showing how confident he was.

"Did you see the contents of the letter?"
Asked Arisu making sure that Chishiya knew what he was saying.

"No. Aguni's expression told me everything. At that moment Aguni's face was dark, it was as if he was confused and perplexed. I'm sure the contents must be empty."

Chishiya explained his theory; however, his face was straight and concentrated almost as if he was making up lies right here. That was probably it, Chishiya didn't plan what to say he was making everything right here right now.

"Empty? What about the passcode you told me?"
Asked bewildered Arisu who seemed like he didn't understand how Chishiya read Aguni's face.

Chishiya once again let out a breath-chuckle and answered.
"That wax seal. It was embossed with the Boss' ring and it formed numbers. That was the code itself."
Chishiya once again explained and it seemed like Arisu took that as a pretty good explanation.
'To be honest, I would believe this as well but I probably wouldn't trust someone I only knew for a couple of days.'

"I wouldn't want to be your enemy."
Arisu spoke up and Yusari was sure that he had a grin on his mouth.
'Poor him' she thought, he didn't even figure out that he was falling right into their little trap.

Chishiya handed Yusari his walkie-talkie and smirked at her knowing that he completed his plan.

"Time to go, love."
Yusari's cheeks turned red at the sudden pet name she got from her boyfriend.
The boy smirked even more when he saw her face. With an even bigger smirk, he walked away causing the girl to groan and follow after him with her face as red as a tomato.

"Hey!? What's with the pet name?"
She yelled after him but he stayed quiet not giving her a proper reply.

Grunting and groaning could be heard in the royal suite where Arisu was caught red-handed trying to open the safe, Yusari didn't want to go in the room instead she stayed outside.

She played with the bracelet she got from her sixteen-year-old sister Fuyuki.
Yusari hoped that Fuyuki was safe and sound in the real world and not here suffering from all these games, Yusari adored her younger sister not because she was the only nice person in her family but because she was admirable, loving, and clever.

A sigh left the girl's mouth when she heard a couple of yells coming from Usagi, ' Ah poor girl, she doesn't know that this is just the beginning of shit.'
Yusari thought.

Yusari removed her gaze from the bracelet and now placed it on the bleeding Arisu who was knocked out and Usagi who was screaming and struggling.

Usage looked over at Yusari for help but the taller girl only snickered at her, deep inside Yusari felt bad but if it meant that she would survive then it was fine.

"So you've been waiting here?"
Asked Chishiya who finally came out of the royal suite.
Yusair nodded smiling at the guy then placing her gaze on Arisu who was thrown into some room soon after the men who threw him walked inside and locked the door behind them.

"Let's go, I'm not sure if you want to hear or see the next thing that happens here." enunciated Chishiya.

Quickly the girl agreed and started walking away but stopped when she saw a familiar girl walking into the meeting room.

"Ah, I must do something before I go, you don't have to wait for me."
Yusari quickly said before running inside the large room where she saw Ann getting ready to inspect Hatter's wound.

"Huh? What are you doing, you're not supposed to be here."
Asked Ann examining the girl that walked closer to Hatter's body, Ann knew the girl because she was at the meeting where Niragi announced the death of Hatter. Ann is certain that her name is Yusari.

"I wanted to study the wound as well. Listen, I was near the area where Hatter played his game. The only thing that could be heard was a machine gun then a couple of minutes all of the sudden was pistol gunshots."
Yusari explained looking at Ann seriously, Ann felt like she could believe Yusari but she wasn't so sure. All, she knew was that she could end up as a victim of manipulation.

"So you're saying that this might be pistol ammo?"
Asked Ann to put together the information she got from Yusari.

"Yup. You might as well check."
Yusari answered confidently.

After maybe ten minutes, Ann took the ammo out of the wound and inspected it. The ammo was a perfect fit for a pistol and it fit the firearm we had at the Beach.
