Chapter 8

Since yesterday Yusari has been avoiding Chishiya, it was weird but it seemed like he forgot everything that happened, and that made her nervous and a bit furious to know that he was ignoring her.

Yusari took a deep breath on the roof of a building, her eyes watching the bright lights coming from the party that was happening below her. Everyone was laughing, drinking, or making out. Some of it disgusted her but she just ignored the feeling.

The strong wind blew her hair and the cold air kissed her skin softly, Yusari raised her legs and hugged her legs closer to herself.

'Maybe he did it out of frustration? No, he said he liked me back...'

"Yusari?"

A familiar voice was heard behind the girl who was silently watching the party.

"Chishiya..."

The girl raised her head only to be met with two deep brown eyes staring softly at her, those are the eyes she found comfort in. She loved them so much.

"Why aren't you at the party?"
Asked Chishiya sitting down next to Yusari and dangling his legs off the edge of the roof.

"I'm certain you know that I never enjoyed parties like those."
Yusari put a strand of her hair behind her ear, closed her eyes, and took deep breaths.

Tension was raised between the two friends or whatever they were.

"You know about yesterday..."

Now, this caught Yusari's attention.
"Oh, you finally decided to talk about it? After ignoring me the whole day?"

Yusari spun her head towards Chishiya who had a relaxed look on his face.

"Listen...I."
Chishiya stopped took a deep breath and continued.

"I never meant for this to happen, I promised myself to never feel like this to never feel love and I never felt it before we met. But in that class on that day, I didn't wanna fall in love with you, not at all. But at some point you smiled and, holy shit, I blew it."

Chishiya placed a hand on Yusari's cheek making her turn her face towards him, he smiled sweetly and Yusari was shocked.
Such a cold person to have such a warm smile, that wasn't something you would see often.

"So will you be my girlfriend?"

A huge warm smile appeared on the golden brunette's face as she stares at the boy in front of her.

"Of course, you big dumbass!"

Quickly she jumped on him and kissed him on his soft lips, which took Chishiya by surprise. He held himself up with his forearms and kissed the girl on top of him gently.

"Finally, you confessed your big bit-" Yusari got cut off by Chishiya placing his finger against her mouth.

"One thing, maybe  if you would use less foul language your brain would function better."  
Yusari narrowed her eyes at the boy who had his finger on her mouth.

"Let's sleep together!"
Yusari chirped happily after moving Chishiya's finger away from her, this caught his ears and that made his cheeks go red.

"Did you think about something else? Dirty-minded idiot!"
Yusari shrieked hitting Chishiya's head with her hand, laughter was heard from the couple in the middle of the night but fortunately, no one heard it because they were either drunk or making out.

"So where is that game arena again?"
Yusari asked Chishiya who was walking beside her, his hands were in the pockets of his white jacket and Yusari's hands were behind her head.

"Around the corner to the right. Is it that you only have brains for manipulating?"
This caused the girl to glare at the guy next to her.

"No. I simply can't memorize stuff as much as you can,  and you're just jealous since you're not as good as I am."

The guy snickered and turned his head in the direction of the girl.

"So that's what you think of me?"
Yusari smiled at him before answering.

" It's funny that you believe that I'm thinking about you."
Yusari simply said before walking faster to avoid his comeback, just as she was about to walk away Chishiya grabbed her wrist and held it firmly.

"Then who are you thinking of?"
Yusari locked eyes with Chishiya who kept a straight face.
This caused Yusari to smile as wide as possible, was he perhaps jealous?

"Now now, why would you like to know?"
Yusari asked as she moved closer to the taller guy, she was expecting any kind of reaction but all she got was a straight face.

"Just curious."
The golden brunette's eyebrows raised when she heard his lame response, a sigh left his mouth before he released her wrist and began walking away in the direction of the game arena.
Moments, after he started to walk Yusari followed him closely.

After a couple of minutes of walking, Yusari and Chishiya arrived in front of the tall building, an apartment building.

"This gives me spades vibes, wanna bet?"
Yusari asked before putting her hands in her pockets.

"No, I'm certain that it's a spades game."

"Boring. Well, let's go inside."
