Jungkooks POV

I returned home from a long day of rehearsal and was headed straight for bed. Taehyung had stopped me on the way asking if I was attending the party tonight, another pre wedding party. I had pleaded with him to excuse myself from the celebrations on account of being unwell. Really I just felt too tired, I felt unable to face countless people with a smile. Sometimes smiling was the last thing I wanted to do.

I went upstairs and flopped onto the bed. I stared at the ceiling, listening to the clock ticking slowly to the beat of my heart. I rubbed my eyes which were tired and felt my body sink into the mattress. It was only days until the wedding. What was I doing? I felt close to tears for the first time in a while. I called my butler to my aide to bring me several glasses of champagne, I started feeling a bit lighter and singing to myself, whenever the door swung open.

It was Jiha, all dressed up in a long sparkling dress, she looked angry. "I've been looking all over for you" she said, storming towards me, the door swinging shut behind her. She stared at my appearance which must have looked rather dishevelled by now.

"You aren't going dressed like that are you?" she asked, looking unappeased.

"I'm not going at all" I said, calmly returning to humming.

"What do you mean your not coming? I am not going to attend a pre wedding party without my husband " Jiha exclaimed, coming and taking the champagne off me. Some spilt over me as she grabbed it and I stared at my now soaked trousers in anger. I took a napkin and started wiping myself down.

"Ive done enough appearances, Jiha" I said standing up, trying to keep my cool. "I've had enough"

"Yeah because you've been too busy doing charity work down at that shabby theatre! I want you to stop immediately!" Jiha screamed. I was aware suddenly how very drunk she already was.

"I won't stop!" I yelled.

Suddenly there was a voice behind us. "All ok? What is going on? I heard shouting" Namjoon appeared behind Jiha looking concerned. Jiha turned to him fluttering her eye lashes and pressing her hand on his chest lightly. I rolled my eyes at the sight.

"He won't come to the party, Joonie, because he's been too busy at some commoners theatre group!"

Namjoon raised an eyebrow. "Theatre? Cousin, you are not serious? Besides, your wedding is approaching, how are you having time for this?"

"I am serious. You know what, I want to talk to Namjoon privately" I said, standing up and looking at Jiha. Jiha folded her arms and didn't move.

"Anything you can say to him you can say to me" She said. Namjoon looked between us and turned to Jiha with a slight smile.

"Jiha I promise you I'll have a chat with Jungkook and we will both join you for the party in about 15 minutes"

I was about to speak, but Namjoon give me a look to reconsider and Jiha sighed. She fixed her hair and smiled at Namjoon. "Well, ok I guess. I'll see you both down there"

Her eyes followed me as she left the room, as soon as she shut the door Namjoon turned back to me quickly. "I'm considering not marrying her" I said, staring at the blank door.

"Cousin, talk sense" Namjoon said.

"You don't understand " I said angrily. I poured myself another glass of champagne and one for Namjoon who downed it. "I can't live with that girl for the rest of my life"

"Jiha?" Namjoon exclaimed. He laughed. "She's perfect, the looks, the personality"

"Yeah not to be" I said sighing. "To you, Taehyung, Seokjin maybe, to me y/n is perfect"
