Chapter 5

A/N: I will be updating the rest of this story daily now. I finished with the rest of it and really want to get it out there. Let me know how you like the ending cause I did not expect it to end like it did. I think it's a good ending but still, I would love to hear your thoughts. Chapter 10 will be the final chapter.

As the castle crumbled everyone inside was frightened. The staff of the schools were only able to watch as Rafal killed Princess Tara. Leonora Lesso was aptly watching as she herself knew she wouldn't be able to live with herself now. Princess Tara had grown on the woman but now it was too late. What she didn't know was that this was not the end, but was only the beginning. Just as the schools had crumbled they rebuilt as if nothing had happened. They all felt it when the curse was lifted and they grew back into their original forms. Many were glad but both Leonora and Dovey ran to Tara's side.

"No, no, no, no." Leonora lifted Tara's head up into her lap as she dropped her cane. Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and searched within Tara for any sign of life but none could be found.

"Lesso. She-" Leonora snapped at Dovey. She didn't want it to be true but it was.

"Don't! I know..." She opened her eyes to see a tear rolling down Tara's face. Quickly wiping it away Leonora leaned down to Tara's ear.

"I'm sorry too." She whispered and kissed her forehead. Many emotions flew through Leonora that she didn't know which one to focus on. Dovey had tears running down her face silently as she watched her friend. She then gasped as she saw Tara's wound slowly heal.

"Lesso, look." Leonora opened her eyes and saw it with her own eyes. She watched as the blood disappeared and the blood surrounding Tara to retreat back into her body.

"True Love's Kiss." Dovey breathed out but Leonora could hardly believe it.

"But Evil doesn't get True Love." Leonora didn't know what to say as Tara fluttered open her eyes.

~Tara's POV~

   I felt no pain was I floated up towards the sky. I sighed as I would finally get to rest.

"It isn't time for you yet, dear one." I heard someone whisper to me and then I felt heavy again.

"...True Love." I fluttered open my eyes and saw Lady Lesso above me. I smiled as I saw she was crying.

"You shouldn't be crying." I lifted my arm and wiped away a tear.

"I can't help it when you almost died." I chuckled and then looked around. I then remembered everything that happened. I quickly got up and distanced myself from everyone. I held out my hands in front of me in surrender.

"Please, I didn't mean to do what I did. Rafal had control of me and then-" Lesso walked forward but I let my finger glow.

"Stop. I don't want to hurt you again." I pleaded with her.

"And you won't." She held up a hand as she understood. She then reached out towards me but I shook my head.

"No. You don't know that." The teachers had wary looks and waited to see what would happen now. Lesso continued forward but I couldn't do anything.

"I know you won't hurt me." She was only a foot away from me just waiting. I took a deep breath and moved forward to grab her hand. I saw her relax as she pulled me into a hug. I heard cheers erupt from the teachers but Dovey just smiled at us. I closed my eyes and let the scent of Lesso engulf me.
