Chapter 10

I hope you guys like this final chapter. It does include heavy smut towards the end so enjoy. I am working on a Dovesso pairing right now so hopefully that won't take too much longer.

~Tara's POV~

   I gasped as I looked into those beautiful eyes only for them to turn red. A smirk tugged on those plump lips as they took in the room in front of them.

"Sorry I'm late." Heels clicked down the stairs as my eyes kept locked onto Leonora's red ones. The crowd parted as she made her way towards me. I stood my ground as she stopped just a few feet away.

"I told you I'd see you soon." She was without her cane which was a weird look but I didn't question it.

"Here I am. What do you want with Leonora?" I asked as everyone watched with waited breath. She rubbed her hands together and breathed in smiling.

"I would think a better welcome home would be in order." I growled at her cause I knew Rafal was speaking.

"This isn't your home, Rafal. It never was and never will be. Give me back Leonora." Her shoulders shrugged and then he left her body. I gasped and ran forward to catch her.

"Tara, no!" I was too late as Rafal forced his way into mine. I stopped moving as I felt him slither his way in. I crumbled to the ground as my magic stopped and Rafal's took over instead.

Ooh, I did some damage didn't I?

I growled and it sounded throughout the ballroom. I didn't have control of my limbs and watched as Dovey was holding Leonora. I gritted my teeth and forced Rafal back some to talk with her.

"Kill him." I gasped as Rafal pushed me back and he was in control.

"Ah, now that she's gone. How about that welcome home?"

~Dovey's POV~

   I laid Lesso down on the ballroom floor and faced Rafal. The only way to kill him was how he was now but that meant Tara would be killed. He stood there with a cocky smile.

"This isn't your home." I sent a mental note to the teachers and students to form a circle.

"Like Tara said, it never was." I watched as the circle formed slowly as not to startle Rafal too much.

"Hmm, it actually was but let's not get technical here. How about becoming the headmaster again? That was rather fun last time." I fixed my glare on him and he laughed.

"Oh, come now Clarissa, surely you knew. Yes, I know all about you. I also know that you are trying to trap me to destroy me but I know you won't do it. You love Tara too much." I closed my eyes and looked away.

Forgive me.

I shot my hand out and aimed it at Tara's heart that was now Rafal's heart. He gasped as he staggered back. The rest of the school chimed in with the spell and it was stronger now than ever. I watched as Tara's form collided with Rafal's as they battled together in mind. I felt tears slide down my face but I needed to get Tara out without killing her. I looked down at Lesso and an idea came to mind. Tara would have to die for a minute but she can be revived. I forced my magic into her heart and watched their eyes go wide.

"You-" I met their pained gaze with a fierce one of mine.

"You are done here, Rafal." I closed my eyes as a bright light encompassed the room. Everyone shielded their eyes and when we opened them Tara was lying on the floor dead. Lesso gasped and sat up as they frantically looked around. I crouched down to her level and forced her to look at me.
