The first impression Taehyung got of the house, were chills. He didn't know what kind, he just shivered for some unknown reason.
The building didn't look too old, but it wasn't the most modern looking either. It didn't stand out between all of the others in the vicinity, it looked like a typical cozy home someone had been living in with their family until they decided to move out, leaving it empty and what he presumed kind of dead inside.
The sound of Hoseok fumbling with a set of keys made him look at him, slowly they walked towards the front door whilst the man tried to figure out which key was which.
"Ah, there we go." He spun the key around in the lock three times, opening the door with a creaky sound.
Taehyung stepped into the sudden darkness, a faint smell of dust hitting his nostrils.
The lights were flicked on by Hoseok, and that's when the other spoke up.
"How long has this place been for sale for?"Hoseok sighed, scratching the back of his neck. "I'll be honest with you. As you probably already saw from the outside and now the inside as well, the house looks pretty promising. It'd make a cozy family home, after you tidied it up. The house has been empty for five years now."
Taehyung looked at him confused, five years? That's a bit strange.
"I know, it's a long time. You see, on March 16th, a terrible accident had happened right in front of this place. A driver lost control of the steering wheel and hit a male in his adolescence years. The scene was horrorfying, but as the body of the younger male hadn't been found, the entire street found the accident 'supernatural', as if something out of this world had happened. The family that previously lived here started thinking their house was probably going to be haunted or something, so they moved out."
Taehyung's frown deepened.
"But if the younger male's body hasn't been found, how would they know he was even involved in the first place?"
"A security camera managed to get it on tape. Not entirely, weirdly the footage went black the moment the accident had occurred. Even the police gave up on the case, as the mysterious body was nowhere to be found. As if he was never present in the first place; but he was, since DNA tests proved the opposite to be true."
Taehyung gulped. Perhaps that explains the chills he got from the place.
"BUT," Hoseok clapped his hands, startling the male next to him and breaking the chilly atmosphere.
"It's been five years since that happened. The house wasn't up for sale since two years ago, but since no one seemed to be interested after knowing what happened that day, it stood empty for the rest of the years. The government debated on taking it down, but they wanted to give the house a few more shots of getting sold and making someone real happy before doing so, hence why the house was up for sale once again. You're the first person that took interest in it, Taehyung."
The male hummed, "Suddenly everyone went crazy back in the days, or something? Believing in paranormal things? As if." He snorted, shaking his head.
Sure, the story was strange, but it has been five entire years, life goes on. Plus, such things simply don't exist. Not now, not ever. This is reality.
With that thought in mind, Taehyung excitedly followed Hoseok as he led him through every room, taking notes of all the important information that was given him.

At the end of the tour, they sat in the kitchen, sipping on a glass of water.
"I can't believe so many people passed on this home. With a little imagination, it could be turned in the perfect house for anyone. It could be lively, with a few new touches here and there." Taehyung scoffed, shaking his head at the foolishness of others. It was their loss, anyway.
"I know, right! That's what I've been thinking all along. Can't believe people passed on such a perfect opportunity."
Taehyung glanced around a bit more, white duvets placed over nearly everything to keep things intact.
"Well, the offer stands. I'm sure the price can be even more lowered, if you're interested. I don't know if you're planning on visiting more houses, and I surely don't want to pressure you into anything; but do take note of the fact that this place kind of has a time limit. If I don't manage to sell it before the first of September, it'll get demolished."
"I know, I'll definitely take this place into consideration. I think I'll take a look at two more houses in the area, before making a choice. There really aren't many places I'm interested in, and my standards really aren't high. If I like it and it fits my budget, plus if the time it costs to travel to my job is decent, I'm pretty pleased already. I'll make sure to call you after I sighted the rest of my options, no matter what option I'm going for. Alright?" Taehyung stuck out his hand towards Hoseok, waiting for a response.
The man smiled, nodding.
"Of course. Take your time to consider your options. Don't rush these things, you'll regret it later." He winked, suddenly Jimin's words getting back to him."I won't. I'll make sure to take your advice. Thank you, Hoseok."
With that, they exited the house. Taehyung turned on his heels, watching as Hoseok locked the door, shutting the dark hallway out of sight.
Along with that, something else, but Taehyung assumed that was probably just the chilly feeling he got an hour ago, leaving it behind, knowing it was silly.
The house could make a perfect home for him, but he wanted to take responsibility and thoughtfully go through all of the options before making a choice he might regret later on, just as Jimin and Hoseok had told him.
