A month and a half had passed and Taehyung had fully settled in his new home. With the help of Jimin, he got the very last and the most important stuff he needed, everything now complete.

It had been two weeks since he started at his new job. It was great, the decision being one of his best ones yet. He couldn't have imagined it any other way.

However, things slowly started getting pretty stressful. His co-workers were treating him kindly, but the job was tiring. He already had a lot on his plate and that within the course of just two weeks. It would only get worse as time passed by.

Whenever he got home late, he was almost too tired to make himself dinner. He didn't exactly grant himself the time to eat breakfast in the morning either, telling himself 'I'll skip it, just this once. Don't want to be late and give them a bad impression.'

So whenever he was at home, he was either too occupied resting or shrugging away some things without a second thought.

That was his first mindless mistake.

He got home one Wednesday and slipped out of his shoes, immediately headed towards his room.

He didn't pay any mind to some clothes that were scattered on the floor, thinking that he forgot to put them back after being in a rush that morning.

One morning, however, he searched through his entire wardrobe in order to find a specific shirt, but it simply vanished.

'Perhaps Jimin took it with him.' He reasoned, even though he wouldn't understand why the male would've done so.

Another few days had passed. It was Saturday, he took the chance to sleep in and rest up.

But the lights suddenly flicked on and he groaned, rubbing his eyes tiredly. He was about to stand up to switch them back off, when they already did so before he could do that.

He just went back to sleep, mind too hazy to even think about it any further.

'Must've been some troubles with the electricity in the area.'

Sunday, he sat in his living room, sipping on a cup of coffee when he heard a sound coming from his kitchen.

He furrowed his brows, pausing the TV and putting his warm beverage on the small table in front of him.

Turning around the corner, he halted in his tracks at the sight of the faucet running.

'Crap, I must stop being so careless whenever I'm in a rush. How long has it been running for?'

He went to turn it off, now halting yet again once he heard the TV play in the background.

He groaned, marching back towards the living room. He sat back down again, taking a heavy gulp of his coffee and cursing at himself for letting stress take over him which caused him to be forgetful and act weirdly the last couple of days.

Monday came along and the sound of his alarm beeping woke him up from his slumber. He stepped out of bed, walking towards the clothes he had laid out the previous evening so he could get dressed quicker, as he wouldn't have to spend time trying to find something to wear.

He brushed his hand through his hair, putting on the clothes. He was about to grab the pants when he noticed there were two different coloured socks on top of it.

A tired chuckle erupted from his throat, he shook his head. 'Stupid stress. Whatever.' He simply put them on, knowing it wouldn't really matter anyway.

He grabbed his fancy black shoes, sitting on the edge of his bed and putting them on. He bended over, reaching for his shoelaces with half closed eyes, but stopped mid-action. 'Wait, I tied them already? Wake up, Taehyung. God, you need way more caffeine if you continue like this.'

He walked out of his room, trotting down the stairs and heading to the kitchen to grab a giant cup of coffee.

Whilst waiting for it to brew, he grabbed two sugarcubes and put them on the kitchen counter, not sure if he was going to add them or not. Once his coffee was ready, he grabbed them, but stopped before he put them in since he had to go to the toilet.

He sighed, hurrying, since he didn't want to be late.

When he got back he quickly took a sip, not expecting the sudden sweetness. Looking back at the counter, he raised a brow not seeing the two sweets there.
'For fuck's sake, Taehyung, you put them in before you went to the toilet. Now hurry up and get to work.' He reasoned once again.

He has never been this stressed in his entire life, hence why he was probably feeling like he was going insane.

"Goodmorning Mr. Kim." Some co-workers greeted as he walked past.
He smiled at them, walking towards his working desk.

"Hey Taehyung, stop by for a minute, please!" He turned on his heels, almost passing by his boss's office. He entered, looking at the man's face.

"Hello Mr. Min, what can I do for you?" He greeted politely, curious and wanting to do his absolute best.

"Sit down for a second, I need to talk to you about an upcoming meeting you'll have to host. I need to give you the details." Taehyung nodded, watching as the man pushed a notepad towards him, some things scribbled on it.

"My sincere apologies for putting this much work on your shoulders in just your first three weeks of working here. We lack staff and due to your experienced position, you handle the work really well. I can't possibly ask someone else to do this when it isn't even on their contracts-"

"It's fine, Mr. Min! Truly, don't worry about it. I understand and I manage to do it, so no worries. I can handle it."

A guilty look was plastered on his boss's face, but nonetheless he nodded.

"Alright. Have you been eating and sleeping well lately? You look tired. Take care of yourself, okay? It's important."

Taehyung nodded hastily, swallowing back the truth and spitting out a lie.

"I have, you mustn't worry about me. I'm doing fine! I will, thank you."
