"And? How was it? Tell me everything!"
Jimin pulled him towards the couch in his apartment once Taehyung got back, many hours later.
"It was great, actually. Mr. Jung, Hoseok, was really nice and he gave me tons of information. We didn't rush things, he took his time to show me around and answered all of the questions I had. Which, were a lot of them. I decided I wanted to view like two more places before settling on an option and making my decision permanent. I'm going to give Hoseok a call once I sighted the other houses I have in mind."
Jimin hummed, "So you have other places in mind? Show me!"
Taehyung nibbled on his bottom lip,
"I surely do have things in mind, however I can't exactly show you as they're purely from my imagination."His blonde friend stared at him, mentally face palming himself.
"You said it just to sound like you're somewhat knowing what you're doing, and to sound like a wise adult, didn't you?"
The male nodded, guilty of those things. Jimin snorted, shaking his head.
"Oh, Tae, I'll help you find some other places. Don't worry about it."

The boy kept his promise, indeed helping his friend.
The next house Taehyung went to see, was downright spitting his expectations in his face. It was nothing like he imagined. It was smaller than the first house he went to, and the salesman who showed him around constantly tried to persuade him and pressure him.
That was an immediate no for the dark haired male.
When he went to the third place, he forced Jimin to come along with him since his previous experience was just so bad. He felt like he needed some support.
The third place was pretty okay. It was once again smaller than the first house yet somehow pricier, the master bedroom made him feel claustrophobic in a way and the rest of the house soon after continued to remind him of the first house, and how he felt back then.
It made him wonder. If he kept thinking about the first place, it would mean that deep down, he already had made his choice, hasn't he?
For some reason he just felt drawn to it. Perhaps the chills he got the first time he saw it were a bit strange, but furthermore the house looked like it'd make a perfect home for him.
"-And thus, the original-" Taehyung stopped in his tracks, interrupting the salesman's words.
"-Actually, I think I've already made my decision. Thank you for showing us around, but I'm afraid I'll have to pass on this offer." He gave a small smile towards Jimin next to him, the male widened his eyes before realisation settled in.
As they headed back towards Jimin's apartment, the blonde spoke up.
"You're going for the first house, aren't you?"
But he didn't need a verbal response.
The smile on Taehyung's face said more than enough.──────👻──────
The phone rang once, twice, thrice-
It didn't ring a fourth time, Hoseok had miraculously quick already picked up."Hey, Hoseok. As promised, I would call you back after viewing the rest of my options." Taehyung spoke up, trying to maintain his excitement.
"Oh, Taehyung! What a pleasure to hear from you again. What did you think of the other places you went to see? Anything that caught your interest?"
The male grinned, "Yes, there is. Perhaps this comes as a surprise to you, but.. I'm actually really interested in the house you showed me. I don't know why, it just feels.." He couldn't quite name it.
"-Right?"
Hoseok finished for him, a smile prominent from his words.
"Yes. It just feels right. You think you could make a handsome offer for me?"
Hoseok chuckled, scribbling something down on his notebook.
"I'll see what I can do for you, Taehyung. I'll do my best. I'll call you back tomorrow, how does that sound?"
"Wonderful! That sounds great. I'm looking forward to hear from you again."
"Excellent! Have a great evening, Taehyung."
Wishing him the same, the call ended. Taehyung looked back up at his best friend, rubbing his forehead tiredly but still squealing in excitement like a teenage girl.
"I'm so happy for you, Taehyung! Your first place ever, I'm so proud of you!"
Jimin grinned, hugging the male close and patting his back.
"I know right! I'm so excited! I'm going to keep my phone's notifications on full blast, wouldn't want to miss Hoseok's call tomorrow."
──────👻──────
The hours went by and along came Hoseok's call the next day. Taehyung didn't even let it ring a second time, his heartbeat already rocketing through the roof because of his curiosity and excitement.
"Hello Taehyung! As promised, I'm here with some news.."
Taehyung chuckled, scooting further back into the couch and pressing a pillow against him, fiddling with it because of his nerves.
"Tell me everything! It's good news, I hope?"
Laughter erupted from his phone, a smile finding its way on Taehyung's face because of it.
"Yes, I'm here to bring you positive news only! I rung authorities up yesterday as soon as you called me, and I proposed a good offer."
"And..?" The younger male asked, containing his nervosity.
"They agreed! Let's meet up somewhere this week at the office, so I can show you the contract and further details."
Those words made Taehyung gasp loudly, he jumped up.
"No way! They did?! How does this Thursday sound?"
"Yeah, sure! At the same time as last time?"
"Sounds good! I'll be there. Can't wait! Thank you so much, Hoseok! I'll see you then!"
The male on the other side of the line chuckled, listening to Taehyung's bubbly voice.
"Of course! See you then,
Taehyung! Bye!"Once the call ended, Taehyung did a little happy dance and immediately started shouting his best friend's name, waiting for a rush of footsteps to dash down the stairs.
"JIMIN, HOSEOK CALLED ME! THEY ACCEPTED MY OFFER!"
