'No. No, this isn't real. This is still the alcohol. I want it to stop, how do I make it stop?!'

His racing thoughts made him dizzy, head feeling like as if it's on fire. He shook his head from the left to the right vigorously.

"Taehyung, help me, I-"

"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" He screamed at the top of his lungs, his throat burning at the frequency.

This wasn't real.

This was some sort of fucked up joke,
or the alcohol, or some food poisoning,
he was getting sick, delusional for sure, anything, but this couldn't be. This was a nightmare.

He feverishly walked upstairs, stepping out of his clothes and into the shower, sobering up completely once he turned it cold. Another way to try to get rid of whatever was happening, hoping to wake up, hoping that camera's would pop up from the corner and people shouting "PRANKED!" right at his face.

But that, unfortunately, didn't happen.

And it won't.

He wrapped a towel around himself, drying his hair and he was about to leave the room once he hopped into his comfortable nightwear when he stopped to look at himself in the mirror.

Turning on his heels, he wiped the fog off the mirror with a towel, bending down a little to hang it somewhere to dry.

Then he looked back up.

A pure, mortified scream of terror left his lips, nearly falling on his butt with the speed rate he dashed away from the mirror, frantically looking around.

There was no one behind him. No one in the shower, no one behind the door, no one apart from himself.

Then who the fuck did just stare back at him through the mirror?

He was shaking on his legs, tears silently escaping his eyes once again. He wanted it to stop. He wanted everything to go back to normal.

"This isn't real.." He mumbled, his sanity oh-so slowly flowing out of him.

It is, Taehyung.

Not daring to look back in the mirror because he was having severe hallucinations at this point, he shut his eyes close, not knowing what to do anymore.

It was either fight or flight and he had tried to flight, but that didn't work. So he bottled up his fear and tried to turn it into something, anything else, so he'd have the courage to try and face this- whatever it was, and get rid of it.

'Looks like I have to go insane to stay sane.' Was the last thing he thought to himself, before taking a deep breath and slowly elevating his head, not yet opening his eyes.

He tried, tried and tried so, so hard, to gather whatever was left of his courage, before finally taking the step to flutter open his eyelids.

And right back in the mirror he stared.

Right back into a pair of eyes that weren't his own.

Biting back a terrified whimper, he once again looked around, making sure no one was behind him. But he knew, that couldn't be, because if that were the case, he'd see his own reflection as well.

He slowly lifted his arm, perhaps expecting the reflection to follow suit because who knows, perhaps the lack of sleep turned him into a completely different person, with a different hair colour, different bone structure, different- well, everything.

A bitter chuckle left him, of course the 'reflection' didn't do the same.

He took slow steps forward, 'it' staying put.

"I need a prescription." He said out loud, nearly falling backwards and hitting his head on the edge of the bathtub as he saw the 'it' throw it's head back, a big smile on it's lips, definitely not expecting that-

"Great. My house is haunted, and this- this thing- whatever, it is laughing at me. My own insanity is laughing at me. Of course it does. I laughed at myself too, what the fuck is happening to-" ranting, he was shushed immediately when 'it' got closer. Only now he could see the details.

"..'m not an 'it..' I'm a he.''

"Oh, look, now it's talking to me. Haha, I'm actually schizofrenic, there are voices in my head." He said out loud once more, the voice however, sounding oddly familiar. But he didn't have to think long, since he got an immediate flashback to that night he passed out.

"HE. Or rather, Jeongguk. P-please call me Jeongguk.."

Taehyung bit his lip, for some wierd reason feeling...sad? The nearly pleading sound from it- he, Jeongguk, as if it were his last dying wish.

Whatever. He lost his sanity already anyway. Why not just-

"U-uh.. Jeongguk, then. Hi?"

It's- no, the person's head snapped up, stepping even closer, a smile slowly getting bigger. The small light from the bathroom illuminated his face as if he was really there, but he was behind- no, inside? No- what?

Jeongguk watched Taehyung pull all the possible facial expressions out there, visible questionmarks above his head, a thousand- no, million questions roaming around in his head.

"H-hi."

Taehyung stepped a little closer, watching the person fiddle nervously with his fingers, as if this was the first time he has talked to someone in years? Ever?

"Jeongguk?"

Taehyung watched as the male's big bambi eyes now held a tiny, almost hopeful sparkle within them.

"That's me.." a small giggle like sound left the male's mouth and Taehyung had to be honest, if this is what supernatural beings look and sound like, now that he sees one that is, he almost didn't mind his house being haunted.

Almost.

"I am- uh-.."

"Taehyung. You're Taehyung." The boy seemed to state somewhat proudly.

"Actually I wanted to say 'confused,' or, I don't know, 'going insane,' but, yeah, I'm Taehyung. Wait, how do you know that? Wait, no, who are you? No, what are you? Wait, are you inside-no, behind? the mirror? Jeongguk? That voice.. All of the misplaced objects? Ghosts are real? Supernatural stuff is real? Uh, I- um..-"

Taehyung stopped, hearing the most angelic -if this was supposed to be demonic he was starting to get excited to go to hell to see what angels are down there- voice laugh.

"I'll explain everything to you. But, you might want to..uh.. sit down.."

Taehyung nodded dryly, about to step out of the bathroom to his own room to sit on the bed and listen, when he furrowed his brows and questionably halted his tracks.

"Uhm, wait, do I need to take you, like, with me? The mirror, I mean? Wait, you actually are inside of it..? Is it limited to that mirror only or do you just randomly pop up anywhere to scare people into mental institutions? I-"

"I am everywhere yet nowhere all at once. Only in this house. So yes, that includes all mirrors in this place."

"Come again?"

"I am everywhere yet nowhere all at once-"

"-Uhuh, cool, yeah, great, that's- yeah. Yep, I'm just going to, uh- lay down for like, a mili-second, don't mind me, nope."

Luckily, the floor was there to catch him when his legs gave out from underneath him.
