STD part 2

1 Week Later
Tess POV
Over the past few days, I started to feel sick. My stomach hurt, my crotch was itchy, and it burned every time I peed, which was close to every half hour at this point. I thought back to the night of the party and the stupid things I did- including unprotected sex. Given my symptoms, I wondered if I could have an STD. The pain and discomfort were getting worse but I did not want to tell Will or Jay because I was too embarrassed and didn't want to get in trouble. I figured I would wait until tomorrow on my way home from school and go to a clinic where I could get tested without my brothers finding out.
I tried to focus on homework but I was so uncomfortable it was taking me 3 times as long as it usually did. Around 6pm Will knocked on my door. "Dinner's ready" he said.
"Be right there. Just gotta use the bathroom." I told him. Will nodded and went into the kitchen. I took a deep breath before I sat on the toilet. I knew it was going to hurt. I grimaced as the tiniest drips of pee came out. I scratched and wiped before washing my hands and joining my brothers in the kitchen. Tuesdays were one of the few nights where we were all home for dinner. Will and Jay tried to engage me in conversation but I wasn't feeling up to talking. Or eating for that matter. I was nauseous. I did my best not to squirm from the itch but a few times it became unbearable and I shifted in my seat.
"Tess, you okay?" Jay finally asked.
"I'm fine. Just not really hungry." I lied. There was no way I was about to tell my brothers I thought I had an STD. They accepted my excuse and kept eating. A few minutes later, the pressure was back in my bladder and I had to pee again. "Can I be excused?" I asked.
Will looked at me with concern. "You sure you're okay?"
I nodded. "Stomach ache." Which wasn't a total lie.
"Clear your plate, and you can go." Will said. I quickly put my plate in the dishwasher and headed to have yet another painful visit to the bathroom.

Jay POV
"Tess seem ok to you?" I asked Will.
He shrugged. "She's probably pissed that she's still grounded."
"It seemed more than that. Like she's hiding something." I said.
"You want one of us talk to her?" Will asked.
I shook my head. Tess hated when we got too overprotective and if we confronted her about nothing, I didn't want her to get more angry with us. "Let's give it a day. Just watch her." Will and I finished eating and cleared the table. Then, the two of us went into the living room to watch the hockey game. During the first commercial break Tess came out of her room and headed into the bathroom.
"Maybe she does have a stomach ache." Will said absentmindedly, "that's the third time she's been to the bathroom since dinner." We both shrugged it off and turned our attention back to the game. Nearly a half hour later, Tess still hadn't come out of the bathroom.
"Will. Is she still...?" I tilted my head toward the door. He got the hint and stood up and knocked.
"Tess?" He said. "You okay?"
"I'll be right out!" She replied, sounding panicked. Will glanced back at me with the same puzzled look I was giving him. A few seconds later, Tess opened the door with tears in her eyes.

Tess POV
Not long after dinner, I found myself back in the bathroom. Now it didn't only burn when I peed but my whole pelvis burned and itched and every few seconds I would pee a tiny bit and it felt like fire. My stomach burned and cramped and I didn't know what to do. I'm not sure how long I was in there but it must've been a while cause Will knocked on the door asking if I was ok. I panicked. I didn't know what to tell him. I wasn't okay. Whatever was going on, be it an STD or something else, I needed help and there was no way I would be able to wait until tomorrow afternoon. I decided that I needed to ask Will or Jay to take me to a doctor now. I washed my hands and stepped out of the bathroom, on the verge of tears.
"Tess, what's wrong?" Will was clearly worried.
"Um," I began. "I think I need to go to the ER." This, obviously, alarmed my brothers.
"What? Why?" Will asked quickly. He scanned me over, looking for any problems.
"I don't feel good" I whined.
"What doesn't feel good?" Will questioned.
I sighed in frustration. "I don't!" By this point Jay came over and was standing next to Will.
"C'mon Tess. Give us something to work with so we can help you." Jay looked at me. I suddenly had to pee badly again. I mumbled for my brothers to wait and went back into the bathroom. This time it hurt so bad, I couldn't help but cry. When I came out of the bathroom, Will guided me to the table so I could sit down.
He knelt in front of me. "Tiny, you can tell me what's going on. I want to help."
"It's a girl problem" I shakily said through tears.
"I'm a doctor, Tess. I'm pretty well versed on girl problems" Will tried to reassure me. I fidgeted in the chair to try and get more comfortable. "Jay, give us a minute?" Will said. Unwillingly, Jay went into his room to give me and Will some privacy. "Is it your period?" He asked in a quiet voice. I shook my head. "But it's related to your va-"
"Yes" I cut him off. He may be a doctor but he is also my brother and talking bout my reproductive anatomy with him was not something I was interested in doing. "Now can we stop talking about it and go to the hospital? It really freaking hurts."
Will nodded. "You want Jay to come or just me?" I shrugged. "It might be hard to keep him away." Will joked. A few seconds later Jay and Will came into the kitchen ready to go. Will helped me slide on my crocs and coat and walked me to the car. Aside from my groans of discomfort it was a quiet ride.
