I'm so exhausted today, yesterday I competed. I woke up at 7 a.m. and went to sleep at 2:30 a.m. I know, why you up already at 2:30 a.m? Well I got home at 2 a.m. because of the long bus ride back home.
Today I was supposed to go to church at 9 a.m., but church was canceled because of the blizzard, thank goodness. I wouldn't be able to keep my eyelids open.
After we competed, we got to do whatever we want, so I went to the auditorium to watch the other glee clubs compete. I have to say the California glee club was incredible. I never seen a glee club better than that, I mean wow. I'm just speechless.
During competitions they gives the audience breaks, to eat or to stretch, or take pictures and stuff like that. During one of the break I went upstairs to the room. And I saw Teddy and this random dude talking to each other in the hallway.
Being the nosy and curious person I am, I went over there pretending to tie my shoes to eavesdrop. They were just being all gushy and gross. They were talking about each others names and how cute their names or whatever. I didn't want to listen to the conversation much longer, so I just left and went back to the auditorium.
Being honest it kinda stings a little. I was planning on asking her out and I find her flirting with this guy. And I even thought of how I was going to ask her out too. I was going to save a seat next to me and then before they tell us what place or medal we got I would ask her out.
Oh well, I guess she likes that guy. This is what I get for having a crush on a chick. You know what, fine! Whatever, I don't need to be in a relationship with her. I have girls crawling all over me, so its fine. They are literally fighting over me. I don't need her.
Cindy and I were sitting together and Cindy save a seat for her. I told her Teddy should seat in between me and her. Even though I'm not going to ask her out anymore, we could still be friends.
And I like sitting next to her. I like to hear she smart remarks she says under her breathe. Its funny because she thinks no one hears her, but I do. Her remark are what makes the competition funny because it always so tense.
She spotted Cindy and I, while she was going over to her seat she fell on some lady. (You got to love how clumsy she is.) She also steps on me and some other people's feet. She can always put a smile on my face. But you know as a friend, because I'm over her.
Out of petty jealousy I mentioned the guy she was talking to in the hallway. And she told me that he's in a relationship and gay. I Think I was way too happy to hear that. That means I still have shot. But at the moment I couldn't help but just laugh, it was a mixture of relief and just plain funny.
We won silver which is good for the first competition of the year. Next competition we will do better. We are going to aim for that gold.
After the awards everyone was falling back into the room to pack up and leave. As you can imagine it was chaos. Cindy, Teddy and I were walk to the room together, as we were walking I saw the guy Teddy was talking to in the hallway. Scandalous, I know.
At the time he was kiss a guy (I'm Guessing it's his boyfriend). I tried my best blocking them with my body because they were kissing. I did that because she seem to really like him so it wouldn't hurt her even more than it already does. I don't want to add fire to the burn. I don't think she saw it. I'm just being an overprotective friend.
On the bus ready home, Teddy and Cindy were sitting in front of me and Tyrone, a friend I make in Bright Stars. All I could think is if I asked her out we would be sitting together. We could be the third couple in Bright Stars. We could have been talking and laughing all night long. ( I didn't mention cuddling because she wouldn't allow that. She's not that type of girl, which I like about her.)
But we (Cindy,Teddy and I) did end up talk almost all night before I fell asleep in a middle of a conversation. (Face plant) I'm such a loser.
