I roll to the other side of my bed to turn off the alarm on my phone. I get up into a sitting position on my bed and stay there for a good 5 minutes. Then I go on my phone and check all my social media account. I tend not to go on social media that often, because I'm always very busy. Also people always tag me and put comments on my page, so my notifications are always full.
I get up and walk zombie like to my bathroom. I brush my teeth and take a quick shower. I get out of the shower flex a couple of times in the mirror. Then I put some moisturizer and a little bit of gel in my hair. I put on the first clean shirt and pants I can find in my closet. I ate a muffin then drove myself to school.
It has been 14 days since I asked her out and she still hasn't told me her answer (I'm glad I wasn't obsessing over this). She's the only girl that I would wait so long for a response. She's something else.
I saw her in the hallway and I went up to say hello, she ran away. She acts like I'm the big bad wolf. She's can't hide from me for long. She's going to see me after school for the Bright Stars meeting.
I just came from Writers Workshop. I was going to talk to Teddy but she got called down to the office before I could. I can't get a break, everything dang time I try to talk to her something gets in the way of it.
I'm in the show choir room waiting for The bright stars meeting to start. We have 10 more minutes before the meeting supposed to start. Only half of the kids are here, er are waiting for the other half to come.
The door opens, I look to see who it was and I see Teddy, she looked stunning. She wore a plain white shirt, polka dot jeans with black flats. She kept her hair natural, which was very curly and pretty. She looked breathtaking, she looks pretty wearing whatever. She is one of the few girls that I know that can look beautiful without makeup.
She walks up to me and asked if we can talk. I nod my head to say yes, she takes my wrist and pulls me into the hallway.

"Hey" teddy says then smiles.
"Hey" I see them smile back at her.
"I'm sorry I made you wait so long for an answer."
"It's okay you're worth the wait."
She blushes but tries to hide it. "I finally have my response."
"Yay, finally" I said jokingly.
"'I couldn't believe I'm going to tell you this, but I always had a crush on you. Since the first time I met you."
"Really!"
"Yeah, What you dated my best friend."
"If I knew you liked me you would have never went out with your friend. I would have went out with you."
"Why did you ask her out then?"
"She reminds me of you. I thought I had a better chance with her than you. Honestly I was going to ask you out but I chickened out"
"I ask Sabrina for her opinion She said-"
"Oh great!" I say in a sarcastic tone.
She ignore my remark and continued to talk. "She said that I should take the leap and say yes."
"Thats Surprising."
"All she want is for me to be happy. She thinks, she truly thinks us dating could benefit both of us."
"So is that a yes or no?"
"I truly really like you, but thats a no."
" I don't understand you said you llke me!"
"I do, but I don't think I'm ready to be in a relationship again. I also don't think you're specially ready to be in a relationship again."
"What makes you say that? You don't know me."
"I know you well enough and you changed a lot. You're not as bubbly and happy as used to be you changed."
"It just been stressful school year for me, but whatever. We can still be friends."
"That'd be great." I leaned over to give her a hug and she hugs me back.
"Are we good here?" She asked while I was still hugging her.
"Yeah."
"Great, your one of my closest friends and I would not like to ruin that."
----
I open the door and hold the door for her, she walks into the choir room before me. I sat next to her like we usually do the whole incident before.

"You guys were amazing. This was a fun interesting year for Bright Star. Every year new kids come in and step up their game. You guys are very smart bright kids. I hope next year you, guys will join bright stars again. I'm going to miss all the seniors that's going to graduate this year. You guys were a pleasure to have. Just a reminder everyone has to return all the costumes and uniforms back. They are'nt mine, their the schools. Its school property, we also need back the bright stars t-shirts-"
I realize that Teddy still has my shirt. We glance at eachother, I could tell in her eyes she remember taking my shirt. I gave it to her when she came over my house and she never got time to return it.
