LUKES POV
I looked in the mirror to see the new silver ring on my lip. I think it looked pretty goddamn cool. I had bought some clothing I didn't buy back at home. It included flannels, band t-shirts, and black ripped jeans. My plan was to dress more bad ass and do more bad ass things. I piercing lip so she thinks I'm cool. I would rip my jeans and as much as I would love to drop out of school I wouldn't see her as much and my mom would kill me. (SEE IM RELATING TO TRY HARD)
I saw this as everybody who ever goes to Cochella had to have that vibe that says I belong here and I live for music and I do drugs and I am a total bad ass. I know it sounds dumb and that's not entirely what I was doing. I was giving myself a change. Not just for Nicole but for myself. I was still the kid who got bullied, had no friends and tried to take his life. No. I wanted to be someone different and that is exactly what I was doing. It made me happy that people wouldn't judge me anymore. I officially decided to wear my hair up. I had started doing it when I moved here but some days when I would stay at Nicole's and stay up with no sleep I would just forget. I went into a bathroom and put my hair up. I think it looked pretty good. I was happy with how I looked. This is what made me happy. I walked out of the store when my phone buzzed. It was Calum.
"Hello?" I asked answering the phone.
"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU LUCAS? WHY WEREN'T YOU ANSWERING YOUR PHONE? WE HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU FOR OVER AN HOUR!!" he yelled into the phone.
"Whoa, calm down. I was just out doing somethings around town. I will be at the hotel in 10 minuets max. My phone didn't get any reception where I was. Are you guys at the hotel?" I asked.
"Yeah we thought that maybe you came here. Remember Harrington Hotel Room 131 10th floor." He said before hanging up. I got a taxi to take me there and it only took like 5 minuets. I walked in to see Michael and Amara first, but they were making out.
"Whoa lets keep the PDA down to a minimum." I said covering my eyes.
"Lucas where were you!?" She asked running up to me and hugging me.
"I was doing stuff." I said looking up.
"Does 'doing stuff' involve that?" She asked motioning up and down at my new look.
"Do you like it." I asked chewing on my piercing.
"I actually think you needed a change and you look hot." She said smacking my butt as I walked by. I jumped and she laughed. She always used to do that to me cause she knew it got me mad.
"Man honestly I think you look pretty damn cool." Michael said high fiving me. I smiled.
"Guys just got off the phone with......Luke what the hell you look different." Calum said scanning over my body.
"I got a new look and before you all say it. No. I did not do it for Nicole, I did it for myself a new country, a new life, a new me." I said winking at Calum.
"Okay you just winked at me. Should I be a girl and freak out because a hot guy just winked at me?" He asked waving his hands in his face sarcastically.
"No but seriously I like it." Calum said laughing and patting me on the back.
"Thanks." I said smiling, but it quickly faded when I asked, " Where is she?" I felt like I already knew the answer to this but I asked anyways.
"Her and Ashton went out to look at LA. I told her she could do it later considering we will be in LA for a while but she ignored me and took Ashton's hand and ran out." Calum said looking down at me as I sat down rubbing my face.
