I needed to escape and go to the back of the school to meet up with Alyssa and Albert. I could've been happier if only Jeslyn didn't come behind and scared me. It would've been better if she wasn't here. I probably just blew my cover.
Jeslyn: "Boo!"
Me: "Why are you here? I will meet with you later."
Jeslyn: "Look I needed to see what was going on. I hope you aren't doing suspicious things."
Me: "Don't you have your meeting with the student council today? Didn't you say at the beginning of the school year that you wanted to be School President?"
Jeslyn: "Oh, Who cares about that? I care about what you are about to do."
Me: "Honestly, just get over yourself. There's no way you are caring more about me than yourself. If you're going to do that, then do with another boy or do it less.."
Jeslyn: "You know, I'm only talking to you so we can deal with the Annabelle situation. I can see why you have no friends. You straight-up hate people with a passion. I have no idea why you feel this way. I'm your friend and friends are supposed to stick together and worry if someone's in trouble."
ME: "I'm sorry that I got mad at you. It's just that, I'm meeting with two people right now and I could be in huge trouble so I wanted to be quiet so I won't get caught. But as for the friend thing, I honestly only think of you as an ally. Honestly, I could withdraw from this school but I need to get an education so I stay here."
Jeslyn: "Fine. Since you want to handle this on your own, you can be such a jerk at times but nice as well. Go right ahead. I'm going to my meeting and I'll see you after school."
Jeslyn walks away and I go to Albert and Alyssa at the back of the school. They were waiting for me for about a few minutes but I had something to deal with.
Me: "So what's this you want?"
Alyssa: "I know what to do with Annabelle. I heard your conversation with Jeslyn just now and you're meeting at the park after school."
ME:" How did you know that?"
Alyssa: "To introduce ourselves, we're spies.
Me: "And?"
Albert: "You see, we solve cases and rumors that happen at school. We aren't stalkers but we know almost everything that happens at this school."
Me: "So you have something to do with Annabelle."
Alyssa: "Well we are the ones who told her to beat up the kid criminal at the park during sixth grade."
ME: "Oh yeah, you said that earlier."
Albert: "The thing is, I want you to meet with Annabelle again."
Me: "I don't know about that. I'm certainly not sure if she's willing to meet the two people that beat her up."
Alyssa: "There's no need for concern. We have her contact information so I told her yesterday to come to the park after school."
ME: "I have no idea how you knew I was meeting up with Jeslyn but SURE.
Alyssa: "Be honest with me, Jalen. You are only with Jeslyn to make an ally connection with her. You still don't consider her as your friend yet."
Me: "Correct but it could change."
Alyssa: "True. I mean, I know that since it's actually a rumor that's been around for some time. The students in our grade are thinking if you guys are dating. I can tell that it's not the case."
Me: "That is affirmative."
Alyssa: "Anyway, We have to go. It's almost time to go back to class."
Me: "Sure."
I am curious about how she acquired such knowledge. The prospect of meeting Annabelle again doesn't particularly thrill me, and I can't help but wonder what Jeslyn's thoughts on the matter are.
