Amity POV: I noticed Luz grabbing a large box trying to carry it to the roof and like any awesome girlfriend would do I helped her out. "Need some help?" "Sweet potato!" Luz's face lit up as she exclaimed. "Yes I would love some, but no peeking it's a surprise!" "Ok." I used magic to lift the heavy box onto the roof. "Gracias mi amor." Luz says as she wipes some sweat off her forehead. Although I had just started learning Spanish with that creepy owl app I understood what Luz had said. I turned into a tomato and looked away so Luz wouldn't notice. "Thanks again sweet potato!" Luz exclaims as she runs over to kiss me on the cheek. Which causes me to become even more red if I can. Luz climbs up onto the roof and shuts the hatch. I walk over to the bathroom and look into the mirror. 'I really do look like a tomato' I think to myself. Not long later I head into Luz's room to read some Azura since a new book came out and it wasn't sent to the boiling isles. I began reading and before I realized it was getting dark. I heard Camila call everyone downstairs for dinner. We all headed down to eat. "Gracias Camila!" Gus says. Hunter and Willow say the same as do I. Camila had made a delicious casserole and everyone ate it almost immediately, I noticed her smile. Soon everyone had finished their food and headed to do whatever. On my way back to Luz and Vees' room Luz grabbed my wrist, catching me by surprise. "I have something to show you." I follow her to the hatch leading to the roof. "Close your eyes!" "But I'll fall down the ladder." "I'll guide you." "Ok..." I trusted Luz and let her guide me up the ladder and onto the roof. "Open them!" I opened my eyes and looked around to see an adorable little picnic blanket set up and on the blanket we're pillows and food. "Luz did you do all this yourself?" I looked around feeling my face heat up. "Well almost.. I asked willow with help for the plants and that was it for help." "It's amazing." Luz sits down and pays a seat next to her. We hang up out there for a while until it got late. Then Luz turned off the light illuminating the roof. We layer down under a blanket and looked at the stars. "This is breathtaking." I say. "least I can do for you sweet potato." We lay there and fall asleep under the stars.
