Camila POV
I open my eyes, sitting up as I look to the clock. 10am!? I was supposed to be up 3 hours ago! I quickly get up and dressed before grabbing my glasses and brushing my hair. Once finished with those activities I quickly walk downstairs where I'm relieved to find everyone. There stood Luz, leaning on the counter, Hunter just standing there, and everyone else sitting at the table. On the stove is a pan of bacon and next to it on the counter is a plate of eggs. "Oh! Morning, Mom!" "Good morning, when did you all get up?" Most of them responded with 8 or 9 am. As I look around I don't see the Collector anywhere. "Where is the Collector?" "They're in the living room watching tv." Luz responds. I nod and walk out of the kitchen to check on the young god.

As I enter the living room I see the Collector sitting on the floor, legs crossed, and staring at the tv. Phew. "Good Morning, Collector." "Oh, good morning Mrs Camila!" "When did you get up?" "I don't really know, but you were still asleep so I went downstairs and Luz and Hunter were there so." "Ah, I see. Have you had breakfast?" "Yup! I had eggs? I think that's what Luz called it." "Delicious, say. I thought maybe we could practice working on your powers? I mean, only if you want to." The Collector looks down for a moment, seeming as though they are making up their mind at the moment. "Yeah!" I look down to the child holding their stuffed snake. I smile at the little beaded plush. "Well, how about we get started after I eat something. Does that sound alright?" "Yeah! Can I come with you?" "Of course." I get up and start walking back into the kitchen, the Collector right behind me.

Once I enter the kitchen I sit down and grab some food. I take a few bites and relax in my chair. "Mom? We're gonna go try to work on the door!" "Alright Luz!" I holler back. I look up to Vee who has an exhausted look on her face. "I'll grab the fire extinguisher." I chuckle, slightly feeling bad for the girl. I watch as she grabs it and hurries after the squad. I soon finish and place my dish into the sink, turning back to the young child behind me. "Cmon then, let's go try out your powers." I watch as the Collector's face forms a grin. I begin walking towards the door, slipping on some shoes as the Collector follows.

Soon the two of us are outside, walking towards the back so no one will see the chaos and weirdness that the Collector's magic creates. "Alright, so a few days ago you managed to make my plant a human eating monster..? Anyway, I'm gonna try and help you control your magic." "Ooooh! I think I can do it myself but it's a little uncontrollable." "Well, let's start small ok? What's something you think you could do?" "Oh! I can probably move things?" With that I watch as the Collector merely flicks their hand a rocks come floating out of the ground. "My, that is incredible!" "Really?!" The Collector asks, full of excitement. I chuckles at their response. "Of course, silly! What other things do you think you can do?" "Hmmmm, I don't really know. My magic is kinda unpredictable." "Well, thats alright. You don't have to figure everything out on the first day." With that I watch as Luz and her friends walk by, watching as the Collector uses their magic.

"That was so cool!" Gus exclaims, earning a smile from the Collector. "Really?" "Heck yeah!" Luz responds. I watch as they all begin talking to each other. It's so sweet to see them finally getting along. Never thought I'd have 7 kids but here I am. "Alright everyone, how about we head back to house and play a game." I say, leading the way back to the house. "Ooo, what game?" Gus asks as he follows along. "Well, we've got Candy Land, Apples to Apples, Monopoly, Go Fish, and tons of others." "What's candy land?" I hear Willow ask. "Well, why don't I show you?"

{For the rest of the day everyone was hanging out in the living room playing random card and board games. The Collector felt at home, the Hexside squad was able to get a break and everyone had a good time. But that wasn't the case for some of the boiling isles. The group would have to start making progress sooner or later if they were going to save the Boiling Isles.}
