Madison used to live a happy life...
Used to have a happy family...
But now...
Everything crumbled to pieces...
Her parents yelled at each other, her dad was drinking alcohol and her mother tangled in the web of sorrow and the past... Ever since their son died. Whenever Mark See's an image of Godzilla in TV news, he would curse and talk smack about him that it was his fault of killing Andrew in the first place. Madison didn't blame Godzilla though... She knew he tried his best to defend and protect his home. It was no one's fault... She was also sad for her brother's death... She knew he wanted them to live on and rebuild their way of life... No matter how hard she tried to get them back up on their feet, they were still stuck in the past... She knew that they will live on at their own paste.
One day, she went to her friend's house while her parents were trying to put the pieces back together with help... Elen and Camila Maria Ramírez. They were fun, Elen was a dragon nerd but also tries to cheer her up, always talking about dragons and stuff, telling jokes, she was about the same age as her. Camila was a good listener and a excellent researcher in Monarch. While Camila talked to her parents, Elen was outside with Maddie talking about things. "So, Maddie" she looked at Madison while they walked to the beach "Is everything alright at home?" "Into pieces..." "Oh... Well at least you tried... The loss can be scars that are deep and painful..." "No one said that healing can be difficult and painful..."
They stared at the ocean with the moon glimmering it's light... "It's beautiful..." "I know..." They sat there for a couple of minutes. "We should head back or Camila will have my head" she said joke fully "ELEN! HELP ME!" Camila shouted from the window. She got up "you coming?" Maddie thought her parents were fighting again... "You can stay here a little late, I won't be long" she ran "Use the Chancla Camila! Use the Chancla!"
Maddie laughed a bit "I doubt that will stop them" looking back at the ocean with the moon glimmering. Until a distanced glowing blue light started to appear in the water ready to submerged out of the ocean waters, she didn't feel fear, backed up a bit for a better view. The light stopped only to reveal two pairs of glowing eyes... Her eyes were locked tight onto the glowing eyes stare... Until He rose from the ocean. She didn't feel fear... Only the sounds of the calming waves filled the silence... "Hi, Godzilla..." She spoke without a hint of fear... Only calm and curiosity. Godzilla never expected that a human child would never be afraid of him, only to step back a little further for him as he moved... 'Hello...' He spoke in her mind, she didn't flinched. She only smiled and giggled, Leaning down towards the brave girl who held her hand up to him. Her hand touched his rough but smooth scales... 'You are a brave child... And yet you hold grief and loss...' Her eyes soften after that comment, she still tried to keep her family together and try to move on with life. 'that is a heart of a leader...' her eyes looked up at him, as his eyes smiled kindly. "Thank you..." He rose again on his feet and returned to the water only to look back, he roared a farewell 'Until we meet again...
Little titan...'
Maddie turned her head, her family came and hugged her, her father looked at Godzilla "STAY AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER!" He yelled "WASN'T KILLING ANDREW ENOUGH TO YOU?!" Camila threw a flip-flop at him "Mark stop it's been enough..." He looked down at Maddie and calmed down "Maddie let's go" He left them as they followed him. "Maddie..." She turned around, Elen was holding something in her hand. "What is it?" "Close your eyes" rolling her eyes playfully and closes Her eyes anyway. She put something around her neck "Now open those beautiful eyes of your's" she opened her eyes. It was a small necklace of a music box. "Play it" she winded the key and played a little music...
"Thanks" she nodded and hugged each other for one last time... "See you soon Maddie"
Godzilla swimmed down to his home to recover and recharge his Starfire. His thoughts couldn't help but think about the young girl... She is strong and didn't show fear when she saw him... He chuckled a bit as he swimmed. By the time he got back to his home and laid down, looking at the corner was a skeleton of a titan "I found my successor..." He spoke with a hint of sorrow "I wish you could see her... She didn't show fear, only curiosity and awe..." He laid down his head "I miss you Anguirus..." He closes his tired eyes to sleep while the radiation does it's job.
