𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝟬𝟭𝟭

It was a bright and sunny Saturday morning in Fresno, today was Saint's birthday, what Saint didn't know was that Jalen and Cain were throwing him a party for him. They hoped that tonight would go smoothly for them and Saint.

Cain's POV

I had finally woken up around 10 am, it was Saint's birthday and me and Jalen were planning it. I went into the livingroom to wake up Jalen, so we could wait on the call from his mother, to let us know that they had left the house, so we could go over and start planning. "Yo Jalen wake up, want some cereal or.." I was saying as I searched for food in my own house. "Yeah cereal is all I have" I told him as I got some bowls and spoons.

'Man I feel like total crap, and I don't know why" Jalen had told me as I tried to remember what exactly that had happened last night. "man I cant even remember-" I was saying before my phone started buzzing, it was Aspen calling. "whats up?" I asked when I answered. "Okay so I was doing a little bit of research on this whole bullshit, turns out Omar is like a gang lord. Jalens brother worked for him along with Saints dad." Aspen spoke into the phone, all I could hear was the keyboard in the background typing away. "wait huh? what about Delaney, and how is this all connected?" I asked.

"whats goin on?" Jalen asked, he finally got a train of thought, which was great for me because I cant handle when aspen got like this, especially when she was speaking so fast. "here shes on speaker, now speak away Aspen." I said to her as she began typing in the background.

Aspen's POV

I was up all night looking up Omar and how he was connected to literally everyone, which even shocked me a little bit honestly.

'Okay so you know how Saint told us that his dad used to do bad shit, okay so the only reason that he got out of that business is because he stole the money from Omar, which is like over 25k and here's the fucked up part.." I was saying as I took a deep breath, I didnt wanna say this last part because of how fucked up it was.

"Omar is the older brother of Diego.." I said. Diego was the last person we need to be added into this situation. Diego was me and Cains bestfriend who had died last year. "Diego?? Diego lived in a big ass fancy house Aspen" Cain was saying as I kept finding more information. "hm I wonder where he got the money for that house Cain, but anyways I tried looking up Diegos obituary, and nothing came up which lead me to remember how we were not allowed at his-" I was saying before I was cut off by Cain.

"Okay I would love to hear more about all of this but Saint's mom is calling Aspen." Cain was telling me as i let out a small sigh. "alright ill tell you more at the party" I said and hung up the phone so I could search for more answers.

'something tells me you're lying about something delaney' I thought to myself as i started looking for Delaney on all social media sites.

9 hours later

Jalens POV

I had everyone start showing up at seven o'clock, i knew saint wouldn't be here until eight o'clock, me and cain had sent him on a wild goosechase for his birthday to keep him away from the house. Everyone had to have a invitation to get in, if they didn't they weren't coming inside.. simple as that.

"Yo bro have you seen all these fine ass women? i think one wanted my number im not sure" Cain said as he approached me, causing me to chuckle and shake my head. "Yeah I see them, but they ain't for us, they're for the birthday boy if he ever gets here." I had finally said before I heard a voice call me and Cain's name. "Wheres the birthday man? I hope I didn't miss anything" Rio who was a year or two younger then us.

"Oh shit i see they let you off house arrest for one night only, how is it by the way?" Cain asked teasingly causing Rio to roll his eyes. "its so great that they let me get off a month early" Rio had said.

"Your nights just got better hello" Aspen said once she walked into the door, you could tell she was not from this neighborhood because she was shocked as hell. "YOOO!" she said outloud. "Saint lives here? this shit nice as fuck" she said again..louder then before. "Aspen act like you got some decency and that you don't live where you live" I said in a half whisper tone.

Aspen gave me a ugly look before the security guard told me that Saint was pulling up. "Okay everyone say happy birthday once you see the birthday boy!" I said with a smile on my face. All I know is tonight better not go to shit at all.

Saint's POV

I had been on a wild goosechase all day today, i told the boys I didn't wanna go all out for my birthday, we could've gone for pizza and i would most likely be okay. Once I was finished with all the goosechases I finally pulled up to my house, I had to apparently pick up something before heading to some club. I got off my car and started walking towards the front door until my phone started buzzing from an unknown number.

"Um hello?" I answered soon hearing a heavy set tone start to speak. "you shouldn't have done that my boy." The man said before hanging up. I was confused but now I wanted to get the hell inside as fast as I could. I opened the door fast as fuck only to hear a bunch of people scream "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" which any other day i would enjoy but right now not so much.

"Thank you everyone" I said as the music started playing, this party might have been the last thing i needed tonight, but Jalen and Cain threw it for me so i have to be atleast grateful. "hey yall three upstairs, Rio do me a favor and make sure nobody steals from me" I told Rio who gave me a thumbs up.

Once we made it upstairs the boys and Aspen looked at me confused. "You good bro? you look scared." Cain asked as i was walking back and forth, i wasn't scared, i was more freaked out and confused. "Im not scared, im freaked out that some man who sounded big as fuck called me and said something like 'You shouldn't have done that my boy' and then he hung up" I said as I finally stopped moving around.

"Wait hold on because I found out some really crazy shit today and I wanted to tell yall but everyone was so busy today" Aspen was saying as she walked over to my computer without asking me but I'll let it slide for now. "So I was doing some research and your dad basically worked for Omar, took his money, the money your dad started the business with, the money that is paying for THIS house." Aspen said. Once she had said that my face had dropped, not only did my dad lie but he has been putting us in danger for years.

"thats why we moved out of Fresno for a year or two" I said, it all starting making sense on why one day he came home panicking and told us that we had to pack our shit. "Thats not even the worse part, he framed Jalen's brother and said Jalens brother had the money." Aspen was saying as I looked at Jalen immediately, you could tell that any moment he was going to punch someone.

Jalen's POV

I had felt everything inside of just burst with anger, My brother died and he was fucking innocent? That was enough to send me over the edge. "So how the fuck is Delaney connected to all this? You telling me shes just somehow related?" I asked, it wasn't even aspen or the boys fault, I was just angry that I couldn't controll my anger.

Aspen was about to say something else before Rio came running upstairs. "Yo Saint its your mom."
