𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ⇝ 𝑪. 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒔

𝐓𝐖𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐘. 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔

It was after school, and Flynn and I were at Julie's house hanging out. This was my first time at Julie's, and her house was nice. I also met her dad and little brother. Her dad was super cool and funny. And her little brother was adorable and reminded me of Jack, just a little older.

We were in Julie's very cool room, and we were working on our homework as well as helping each other if we were stuck on something. Once we were done with our homework was when I realized why Julie was so excited about me coming over to her house.

"You like Reggie!" Flynn yelled out.

My eyes widened, "Wha-what? I don't like Reggie."

"Omg. Yes, you do."

"No, I don't."

Julie rolled her eyes, "Do you think we're that stupid, Del. We saw you guys almost kiss in the music room."

"What!"

"Yeah, Julie and I noticed it, but Luke and Alex were being dumb and too busy playing around that they opened the door, disturbing you guys moment." Flynn explained.

"Oh, my god." I say, falling back onto Julie's bed.

The girls laughed at my reaction, "Plus, we saw how you kept looking at the other when the other wasn't looking. It was adorable." Flynn says.

I cover my eyes with my hands and groan in embarrassment, "Nothing happened, though. So that doesn't mean I like Reggie."

"Oh please, Del. There's no denying it. We see the way you guys look at each other. And when he helped you with your panic attack by holding your hand, he was the most worried about you." Julie explained.

Flynn nodded, "Yeah, Reggie definitely likes you. So if you're worried about being rejected, you shouldn't because that boy is so obvious about his feelings towards you."

I sat up and looked at them, "You really think Reggie likes me?"

They faced each other, then met me, "Yes!"

"Okay, maybe I do like Reggie a little. He is sweet and caring. And oh my gosh, he was the most beautiful green eyes. Soft hands." I look at them and see the big smiles on their face.

"What?"

"Del, you don't just like him a little. You like him a lot." Julie said.

"Girl, you might just love him with how you talk about him." Flynn chuckled.

I shook my head, "What? No. Love? I've never even had a boyfriend. Hell, I haven't even had my first kiss yet."

"What!" That screamed out.

Before I could ask why they were screaming, Julie's dad walked into the room.

"Hey girls, I'm sure what your talking about is riveting but think you can quit it with the yelling?" He asked in the doorway.

"Sorry, dad."

"Sorry, Mr. Molina." My and Flynn say.

He smiled and walked out, closing the door. Then Flynn and Julie look back at me with wide eyes.

"So you're telling you that Reggie would have been your first kiss if we hadn't walked in?" Julie questioned.

I nod, "Yeah."

"Oh, I am so killing Luke and Alex tomorrow. I can't believe we ruined what would have been your first kiss." Flynn said, shaking her head.

"Guys, it's not that big of a deal."

Flynn's eyes widened, "Not that big of a deal?" She looked at Julie and shook her head again.

"Del, your first kiss is a big deal. You know I would have that out of us three, you would be the one who would have had her first kiss already." Julie said.

"Nope. And you guys are so worried about Reggie and me. What about you, Julie? Don't think I haven't seen how you and Luke look at each other."

Flynn sighs, "Girl, don't even get me started with those two. I've been trying to get them together since they formed their band, but they're both so oblivious."

"What? What are you talking about? I haven't looked at anyone." Julie denies.

Flynn and I look at each other and laugh. Julie gave us a confused look.

"Oh, Julie, you are a terrible liar." I say.

Julie gasps, grabbing one of her pillows and hitting me with it. I gasped as well and grabbed one from behind her, and hit her back. The three of us began having a pillow fight, laughing the entire time. Once we were all tired, we fell onto the bed, breathing heavily and still laughing.

"Thanks for inviting me over. I've had fun hanging out with just us girls." I say after catching my breath.

"Of course, you're our friend Del. We love you."

"Flynn's right. I think our circle of friends was never complete until you showed up. We love you, Del."

I smiled at them, finally feeling like I belonged with them. I was happy to find a place that felt like home, finally. And I haven't felt that in a long time.

a chapter on Del becoming closer with Julie and Flynn. there friendship is something i love so much that i wished i had.
also Del has admitted that she likes Reggie and the girls want them to be together.
