Monday. Everyone's least favorite day of the week. It's where we go to school or work, and it always sucks, especially when you had a fun weekend with your friends.

Here I was at school on a Monday. It was the period before lunch, and I was anxious to get food. It had already been a slow and annoying day since my second-period teacher decided to surprise us with a pop quiz. Which I know for sure I failed.

And now, as I sit here just watching the clock and waiting to hear the bell ring with my leg bouncing up and down, I feel like I am going insane. As soon as I heard that bell, I gathered my things and bolted out of that class. I let out a sigh relieved I was out of that boring lecture, and headed to my locker first before the lunch room.

At my locker, I see Flynn and Julie at their lockers, as well as the boys. I walk up and open my locker, greeting the group.

"Hey, Del." Julie and Flynn said.

"Hey, guys." I put my books away and closed my locker, turning to the group.

"Alright, let's go. I'm starving." I say, and the group laughs.

Flynn and Julie hook their arms with mine as we walk down the hall. We were talking and joking around as we walked to the lunch room. Just when we were a few feet from the room and turned to my front and saw him.

Homewood. He was standing at the end of the hallway, smiling at me. I could see his gun in his hand. I stopped dead in the hall, and it was like I couldn't breathe. I closed my eyes, trying to catch my breath then I heard him start laughing. I opened my eyes and saw him still standing there.

Then suddenly he wasn't when someone walked in my line of sight. He was gone. He was never really there. I still couldn't breathe as I stood in the hallway. I clutch my chest.

"Del?"

"Del?!"

"What's wrong?"

I could hear them calling for me, but I couldn't answer. I was like everything around me was spinning. I didn't know what to do or what was happening to me.
