Third POV
Everyone stood still, not knowing what to do or what to say. They all just witnessed Homewood kill Dr. Jackson in cold blood. The group behind the team was all scared they didn't know what was gonging to happen to the two teens still in the room with that man.

Del was holding onto Reggie in fear and for any comfort. They both had tears in their eyes and were breathing heavily from their fear.

"Why did you do that?" Del asked in a quiet voice.

Homewood turned to the teens holding each other, "Oh, don't worry. I have been planning that since I asked her to help me. I didn't really care about her. She was just a pawn."

Del buried her head in Reggie's neck. He held her tighter, trying to comfort her but was struggling because he was terrified. He had no clue what was about to happen to them.

"You two seem pretty close. Judging by how you hold each other, I'd say you have crushes on each other." He says.

"Homewood is gonna exploit their relationship with each other." Prentiss realizes.

Flynn looks at the woman, "Is that a bad thing?"

"If he sees that Del really cares about Reggie, he might use that to his advantage." Hotch answers.

Homewood looks at the teens and smiles, "I'm right, aren't I? You're crushing on each other." Homewood laughed and jumped up and down.

"Oh, this keeps getting better and better. That's why you wanted me to let him go because you like him so much that you don't want him to get hurt."

Del looks down, trying to think about what to do. She couldn't have him using Reggie against her. She had to do something. That's when she thinks of a plan and hopes Reggie will forgive her later.

"You're wrong." Del says, letting Reggie go.

"What?"

"You're wrong. Reggie isn't my crush." Del says, not looking Reggie in the eyes as he looks at her with a hurt expression.
