SWIPE AND HIT PLAY FOR MUSIC!

Gabby's POV
•€•
January 3rd

Justice sleeps the entire hour to the airport. Jordan hums along to music I will never be able to get down with while I make sure everything is in order for when I get back.

I'm trying to focus on this but there's a sharp tension radiating through the car. I can't help but feel like he's hiding something from me. Though every time I feel this way, he proves to me that I am just overreacting.

I just hate feeling like this.

And he continues to smile over at me every so often. A smile is returned and give my attention back to my computer screen.

I type away. Checking emails and messaging parents.

This has got to be the biggest thing I've ever done. Well...work-related.

If I can even call it work. They say if you have a job you absolutely love, you'll never work a day in your life.

I'd have to search an eternity to be able to find anything to refute that statement.

This show and the choreography has to be perfect. Just like the person I will be performing with. Only the best for the queen.

"Mama," Justice calls me and I'm drawn from my laptop. All he does is blow me a kiss.

"Thank you, Stinkas," I say returning a kiss. He smiles so wholesomely before Jordan clears his throat.

"What about me?" he questions and Justice does nothing more than giggle in his face. This is seriously my child. "Give my whole sperm to bring you into this world and all I get is disrespect," he says and I backhand his chest.

"Jordan," I whine. I don't understand why he insists on speaking to my child like this. He is not one of his friends.

"What? He started it," he defends himself and I shake my head. And he says he doesn't have two kids.

Jordan's phone begins to ring and I watch him from the corner of my eye as he looks at the caller ID and silences the call.

Would I be doing too much if I said something?

I decide to leave it alone.

But then it happens again.

"Why don't you just answer it?" I ask with my eyes still on my laptop.

"It's work related. I told them I wouldn't be taking calls this week. We're on vacation, Baby," he says reaching over and grabbing my hand.

"Oh...okay," I say. I trust him.

We finally pull up to the international terminal parking. I'm glad we agreed that we should take a trip for Justice's first birthday. The party was small and mostly for the kids instead of something huge that he'd probably be to sleepy to enjoy.

Like some people have...

Taking him to Jamaica to see his cousins and my grandmother was my idea. It's what my parents did for my birthdays. Actually...a week before because school began shortly after my birthday in New York.

We find a good spot before unloading the baby and our luggage. Justice bawls his eyes out because he insists on showing his muscles and wants to be like his daddy and carry the suitcases.

We make our way to the entrance and when I see who I think I am seeing, I still. I look up at Jordan and he's smiling. This time I've been proven correct by thinking he was hiding something.
