Gabby's POV

January 19th
The vacation was much needed but I let so much slip past me. Jordan and I both. I don't think I've seen him for more than five minutes in the four days we've been back.
He's up before me and I'm not home until he's asleep. He even began to pick Justice up from the studio when he's done with his meetings.
Fortunately but unfortunately, I had a crazy headache and decided to come home early.
Between getting everything ready for the show, checking in on my father more often and planning something for Maya's birthday, I'm exhausted.
And apparently Bryson wasn't planning anything too special. Which means Maya might be right.
I honestly don't think I could ask Jordan if something is up with Bryson. I considered it but after a lot of thinking, it's probably a line I shouldn't have him cross.
He just left his studio and is currently in the shower.
Scratch that—he's now exiting with just a towel around his waist and right now, I can only think of one stress reliever.
I've seen this man shirtless a million times but it never gets old. He looks at me and flexes his chest. I shake my head and giggle.
"Yes, I'm here," I'm pulled from my thoughts and drawn back into the words that are encouraging yet another headache. I listen and continue to write down the dates she's telling me.
If only she could give me a more specific time.
"No, that's absolutely fine. I understand....no, Kay'si is very hardworking so I know she will...alright...you take care...God bless you too," I say before ending. I let a harsh breath go.
I continue to add to my calendar while Jordan stands before me rummaging through the drawers.
"It's on the right side," I say directing him to his durags. I recently sorted his stuff out and organized his drawers. He'll be organized with everything else in the world but not where he puts his drawers.
He finds his blue one and proceeds to tie it.
I get back to work. I trust Kay'si will do what she needs to while she's away with her mom but I'm really scared about risking it.
This is cutting it pretty close and I don't want to risk it. This show is important.
And only one of my worries right now.
I sigh.
"What's the matter?" Jordan asks, still shuffling through the drawers. He pulls his black trunks over his boxers and faces me for an answer.
"Nothing," I mumble.
"Gabby," he glares.
"Just this stuff," I say typing away. Apart from Kay'si being gone, I have to set aside some time to be in New York for the week of the transplant. My parents swear I don't need to be there but why wouldn't I?
"What stuff? The show or the other thing," he says coming towards the end of the bed, tickling my feet. I pull them back and chuckle.
"This show. These girls. Everything is just..." I start but place my face in my palms. I'm not usually this stressed.
He climbs up the bed on all fours before closing my laptop. The, he kisses my hands before moving them from my face.
"Hey...calm down," he whispers.
"I'm sorry," I say looking up at him.
"You don't have to be. Just explain to me what's wrong," he says genuinely. He pecks my lips before laying beside me, over the comforter. Waiting for me to proceed.
